The purpose of my channel is to document my cancer journey to look back on, and/or help anyone else going through anything similar. It is also to potentially help loved ones supporting those who are in this fight as well. This is also an easy way to update a lot of people at once. My main goal is to have footage of this journey for my husband and children to look back on. I originally created this channel as a sort of video diary for my
family.
Thank you so much for following along on this journey. Your love and support help me so much.
How sad to now know Jenny only had 6 more months here. Fly high beautiful angel❤️
How quickly things change. She went on all those rides in April. Then, by September, was struggling to even go on one ride. It's good that they made all these memories while it was still possible & didn't procrastinate.
@@mE-zx7ptsuch beautiful family…
You have a wonderful wonderful husband!! Everyone needs a Kyle! Sending prayers!
Shirley Poplo u r so correct about everyone should have a Kyle! He is such a wonderful husband and father. GOD BLESS THE APPLE FAMILY.
I absolutely agree!! And Kyle was blessed with such wonderful, beautiful wife!
He truly is the best an I love to see how much love they are in!!!
I can hardly believe all Jenny accomplished in one day just 6 months before she passed. She went to an appointment out of town at City of Hope, had lunch with family, picked up Ellis from school, went to dance and tap class with Winnie, helped her son with homework, went to Ellis' swim class, had dinner with family, and pulled a piece of glass out of Kyle's foot. She filmed all of this day's events and then thanked all her supporters and blew her sweet kiss. She looked beautiful as always, even smiling and joking. Jenny still managed to live a full life facing terminal cancer. What a truly amazing woman.
I looked forward to her every video and prayed for a miracle. Now I watch her previous videos and wish she was still here with her family, friends, and many, many supporters. Jenny, you shined a light into so many lives, and we will love you always and forever.
I haven't commented on your videos. I really enjoy your honesty. Keep shining, darling!!! Sending prayers from Alaska. ❤️ 🙏
I tend to shy away from making medical comments or suggestions despite my medical knowledge. Every patient is different as is every cancer plus I live in Australia where things can vary as far as protocols as well. However, I follow you and your family with great interest and pray for a recovery for you. X
Here to just see Jenny’s beautiful face again. And pretend she’s still here 😭
She was so brave to share such a hard journey!!!! 😢
She was! I think if there is anything Jenny will be most remembered for, it would be her enduring positivity, courage and tenacity to not let her illness take over her life and to live each day to the full. She was a fighter until the very end. RIP Jenny. 🙏
@@Romulan2469She fought for her babies!🙏😇
@@denisemcmillan1050 Absolutely! She was an inspiration!
My father was a brilliant physician. He said doctors were taught to hit the patient with everything and gradually back off. Today, physicians are taught the opposite. Doctors gradually add meds which makes the patient suffer for no reason. Staying AHEAD of the pain is key!
well you get to thank the people that abused their oxy and vicodin prescriptions for that. you are basically treated like a criminal having to pass drug tests.
Sweet Jenny, today is your service. Will watch it from Sweden. I am so sorry you had to die, so unfair. Will never forget you❤❤❤
Good morning Jenny, it is 1:30 AM and I am watching you. Keep the faith sweet girl God is with you. You are in my prayers . Much love 🙏🏻❤️

You have such a sweet family, including yourself, sweetheart. I’m glad they are helping with your pain solution…you got this, Jenny!👍♥️🌹
I am not good with pain scales either! I put them too high or too low!! You are looking so much better and Kyle is looking good too! Yes, of course film your panic attacks or anything else you feel like!! We are all in one happy family! Love and prayers to all of you!!
Its from "over thinking".
Pain scale when asked from the Hospital staff s alway a 7/10. I don’t know why but…..
Pain scales Are hard because there are so many TYpes of pain and a number can't really take that into effect if you ask me. I have spinal stenosis that weirdly seems to kick in after about a 1/2 hr of shopping or standing so I just want to come home. It's a very diffuse pain throughout the entire back. I also have chest pain that is more of a intense pressure like the ol elephant standing on your chest. How the heck do you rate those. Yes, pain scales are hard.
@sundoesshine thank you for saying that! I had a low dose ct scan. Severe degenerative spinal disease with stenosis. My ins refuses the pay for mri.
BlueCross.
@@kimanderson5544 Funny Blue Cross denied an mri for me too just today for a separate issue but my Dr thinks it should go through when she resubmits. Fun times. ps cymbalta & meloxicam greatly help my pain though.
Hugs right back at you sweet Jenny .
We are so thankful your sharing your journey with us .
We are better people just being able to be a little part of your world .
You are absolutely stunning and you have a heart of gold .
Kyle hit the jackpot 😬☺️
I’m sure he already knows 🥰
Prayers for your upcoming scans .
We ask for COMPLETE healing Lord 🙏
In JESUS name 🙏❤️
I love watching you and your family! I pray that your lung is healing!
Why God? Those babies needed her!😢
I’m so happy that your feeling better! You look great!
Bonnie Jenny , today , you are looking wonderful ! Hope you are feeling it too. Love from Scotland 🏴 x x x x
It’s so sad what can happen in 8 months 😢 she was so beautiful there. We miss you Jenny
You look absolutely gorgeous in this video. ❤.
My husband asked me why I watch you and I said “because she’s my friend “, seriously I am a hermit and don’t have many friends, so you get lots of prayers and warm thoughts.
Winnie is precious, loved the ballet 🩰 performance!!
Hi.....I can speak of Lyrica-generic is pregabilin- for nerve pain: it is a bit difficult to tolerate at first(causes one to feel "drunk" in many people).that lasts for about 6 wks, then not so much of that wonkiness. I have been on it for several years;important to take as scheduled to prevent strong pain-not after pain has already begun. Hope this info helps. Always,J.
Winnie is such a beautiful little girl! Ellis is too but probably doesn’t want to be called beautiful! He is handsome like his daddy. You amaze me Jenny with all you do when I know you aren’t feeling well and in pain. Take care of yourself and know we care so very much. 😊💗🙏 I also hate the pain scale too! I never want to sound whiny.
I’m so glad you’re having a better day. Prayers coming your way.🙏🏻🙏🏻💐
You look great and so happy considering the other video. Love you and sweet husband.
Hi Jenny, Kyle, and family! Jenny, I’m glad the pain doctor was kind and knowledgeable. I pray that your pain lessens all the time 🙏🏼 I am all too familiar with panic attacks, they are awful! So I can identify with you on that.❤️I’m praying that your upcoming scans will go well, and that you’ll have excellent results. I love you Jenny and family, prayers in Jesus’s Name! God bless you all 🤗🙏🏼❤️🥰
Oh my gosh ...Dr Quinn Medicine Woman was on my TV when you mentioned it lol! Wow 😘💕🙏
That Winnie is such a doll. Jenny, you have a great family. Ellis and Winnie are lucky to have such great parents. I'm sending prayers and love to your family.
Winnie is silly. Kyle is like my husband. I have to remove all foreign bodies from his body and he has to inspect them. Cracks me up that Kyle is like that
Make sure Kyle is around when you take the Lyrica the first few times. Sending Love and Prayers.
Jenny ur missed here on Earth but l find it humbling that you're wonderful Kyle is being the best Dad ever byt l know that you are watching over them and always will, God bless 🙏 ,lm happy for one reason , that u no longer r in pain thanks for sharing your story love you ❤❤😢 😇🐞🦋
I am so very glad you are feeling better. I've had days like that with breast cancer. What a nice thing to pull out Kyle's shard of glass from his foot.
Kyle has a very reassuring and kind voice.
We all have those moments. I have breast cancer. I had surgery then radiation. Radiation affected my lungs So prednisone became a constant in my laugh. I started having back problems and found out a herniated disk. In addition I seem to have a bad painful tooth and some bowel problems so being scheduled for a colosocpy. Listening to you helps. I sometimes feel I couldn't take one more thing.
I’m on the same journey. Hope you travel well xxx ❤
I have the same issues with breast cancer, especially the lungs. I need to be prednisone for a week when my lungs get too bad.
Oh, kathleen! So sorry you are in a bad situation to! Praying for sure! Bless your heart!
Prayers for you Judy my daughter has breast cancer too and hubby has multiple myeloma . I will put you in my prayers! God bless you!
Hang in therekkat54 have faith that you can be healed, be positive from the sole of your feet. Cancer like negative so be positive even in the pain n the drama. Sending you heal hugs n love from Jamaica 🇯🇲

I LOVE that you kids were BEST FRIENDS before you became a couple! I think that makes all the difference in the world!❤❤❤❤❤✌🏻
What a positive human being Jenny was❤. We all could learn from her 🦋. Jenny now is enjoying heaven but still keeping an eye on Kyle and her beautiful children 🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽
So happy you’re appointment went well. Sending love ❤
Hi Jenny I have been on 300mg of Lydia for 2 years due to neuropathy and pain from failed back surgeries. I can’t take gabapentin due to side effects. Lyrica has worked wonders. I absolutely love watching you and your family. ❤
Doesn't Lyrica have some gabapentin in it?
@@marycrosbie546 No. Lyrica is its own medication. It doesn’t include gabapentin. ❤
Winne is so smart for her age. So is Ellis. Very intelligent children yall have.
In mice studies lyrica caused brain tumors ... Something I read when my mom took it a long time ago, when she had shingles. Pls remember, every medication we take ... takes away vitamins and minerals that we have to put back in our bodies daily, thru nutrition & supplements. Also, if your low on B vitamins, that can cause nerve pain or damage to nerves. I'm so sorry you & your family have to go thru all this ... all of you are in my prayers. ✝️💛
I am terrible with the pain scales too!
They need to make a movie about what all this family went through. It would be such a loving but also how Jenny handled Cancer.
Yes, it would really show what cancer is like, so tear jerking, no actress could do a better job than Jenny, she did it for real, the emotional pain was real, the physical pain was real, her families pain was real
Heinze sight is 20/20 it is so unreal to know Jenny had such a short time with her family I miss her beautiful face she was so brave and a courageous soul she is in heaven with our lord and savior ❤🙏 I keep going back to these videos wishing for a different outcome RIP Jenny u are so loved❤u taught this world so much thank you for just being u and not hiding the real cancer journey u fought so hard ❤
I am terrible with pain scales. I never know how to rate it. I say it hurts really badly or it’s not as bad...anyway, after your last video I went to City of Hope site and was reading patient stories. You are so lucky to be in such capable, caring hands. I cant wait to see your story on there, cancer free! ❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤❤
Lots of hugs and prayers, Ms. Jenny! You are brave to share this journey with people you don’t know! I’m sure you have helped others! Kyle , you are one in a billion!! Hugs and prayers. Always pray when you start feeling those anxiety attacks! Read the Bible ! Even if it’s just two or 3 verses . I pray for you to know through faith He is with you! When you feel half way decent, pray and read! He makes the difference! I don’t mean to come off preachy! Love you, baby girl! You dad is so nice ! Bless his heart!
Amen to all of your comments, ragdollmommy2! Yes, God is with you Jenny, Kyle and kiddos! We all have a certain journey in life and you are certainly helping many people through your videos, sharing your life. I am praying that the cancer is leaving your body and it sounds that way with the new things happening as you explained. I am praying for this cancer to be gone and for a full and complete restoration of your health. God bless you all.
I agree totally.
Hi Jenny. You are looking really well. I’m taking that as a sign. Question for you. What kind of phone case is that and is that a handle on it? Praying you having a pain free day. Hugs from Reno NV. ❤
Jenny, you are so pretty, and so sweet !i just love you 💝💝💝🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I have taken Lyrica for years. It has been very helpful.
Beautiful Shilo. 19 years old wonderful.
Film it all, Jenny. We are here to support you and your family. Much love and blessings.
Your yWinnie is a little doll! I appreciate you and your family so much. I hop you all have a good nights rest!
We are all sending you happy healthy thoughts and prayers 🙏
Hi. I am terrible with pain too. When I’m really in bad pain I always say it’s a 20. My hubby gets a kick out of it. Lots of prayers to you and ur family. Always watching out n waiting for ur video. All the way from San Antonio , Texas. Lots of hugs.
Sending hugs, prayers and positive thoughts for you
Jenny sending u love n prayers to you and your family thinking of you your amazin
A friend of mine takes often Lyrica (Pregabalin), because he has backpain and panic-attacks. In germany it is often prescribed. It's against servere nervpain AND anxiety-attacks too !! Maybe you should try it.
Have a wonderful day Jenny and family. We love you too. xx
Lyrica is a new version of Gabapentin. It’s supposed to be cleaner delivery and easier on your body. It makes me sick, makes my husband sick; however Gabapentin doesn’t. It was gradually given to prevent stomach upset. We take it for nerve pain. It’s supposed to have more long term side affects, but if it’s the only thing that makes the pain go away. Anyway, just be aware that they’re the same base meditation.
I also wanted to tell you that I’ve noticed less stress in your face and your skin looks clearer. I’m going to assume that means your treatment is working!😊
Lyrics is Pregabalin.
I take 1800mg of Gabapentin 7am and 2pm, and 2400mg of Gabapentin at bedtime. Fortunately it has never bothered my stomach.
Prayers and hugs back from me. You are looking so much better, beautiful family love from UK 🇬🇧
I am so glad to see you in better spirits!!!! Sending you warm wishes and loads of hugs!!! PS. I'm so glad you were able to enjoy yourself with family and friends at Disney - they don't say it's magical for nothing!!! 😉🤗🙏❤
Look at your face -- almost back to your old self! The effects of steroids are subsiding!! So glad for you.
I always set an alarm while napping so I wake up in time to pick up my daughter from school. If I nap with out an alarm I keep waking up . The alarm helps me sleep better
I’m so glad D-land made you feel better. Jenny you are so precious. I wish I could give you a gentle hug right now. Thank you for the update and as always , I look forward to more beautiful video of you and that sweet family of yours.
We all love you too Jenny and I would certainly give you big hugs too if I could. It was nice to see you in this vid. You are more positive but you never have to apologise for anything. You are poorly and your Journey is very real. I love that you are so honest about everything. I hate that you are going though this awful cancer journey. It must be an emotional roller coaster for you. You are an amazing woman with a beautiful family. I keep you in my prayers always Jenny. 🙏 ❤...Dee (from UK.) X
Big warm hugs back, Jenny. ❤️
Prayers, prayers and more prayers for you Jenny. You WILL beat this ! Sending you a ton of love 💕 💕💕💕 💕
Glad appointment went well and doctor sounded really good. Dear Kyle, what a lovely husband you have Jenny. I think sent to you by God to help you through the tough times. I have been thinking of you so much and praying for your healing. Lots love xxx❤❤❤❤🙏🤗💐💐💐
I think one of the weirdest things for me w cancer/chemotherapy was the loss of nose hairs. You don't realize how important they are until you lose them and your nose is running like a facet. 😆 I'm glad you are hiccuping and I'm glad you are connected in w yet another supportive doctor who will be there for you! 🌻
What a fantastic family you have. You are looking especially beautiful today.
Virtual hug to you too sweet Jenny. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
My surgery is may 2, and looking forward to being able to let go of the lyrica. It Works, and I’m grateful for it currently.
Breaks my heart she is gone 💔 She went thru so much ❤
🙋♀️💌❤🙏I have trouble with pain scales as well. Keeping the faith that cancer is leaving your body!! You look beautiful btw! And oh wow, Winnie eyelashes are long!🥰 The kids are so cute!! I have panic attacks, not as often as I use to. They would put me going to the ER. Hello Kyle👋you are awesome!
Lyrica is Pregabalin which is very similar to Gabapentin and works on the nervous system just the same. They are both also used in the treatment of epilepsy and are very good pain relievers. I take Gabapentin 600mgs three times a day for sciatica and have never had any side effects so maybe your pain nurse is right in that it wasn’t the Gabapentin that actually caused your reaction. Either way you’re in good hands and I hope they find something suitable for you Jenny. ❤️
Have you considered a pet pushchair for Shiloh? They’re very good and not expensive if you have a Facebook market place to find used ones - don’t know if you have a FB market place in the US.
It’s so cool to see your 19 yr old furbaby! I wasn’t quite that fortunate ( 17)…but my blind boy absolutely loved his dog stroller and I found it convenient for even carrying other stuff. Collapsed easily and you could even take the canvas part out like a baby carrier. Might be less stressful on your chest. 🐩❤
Hope everything goes well hey jenny's dad👍❤️❤️❤️
So happy to see and hear Jenny's voice. I had followed her since diagnosed with the same cancer Feb.2023. Learned so much from you guys, had alot of same side effects and pain due to the disease and the therapy. Thanks Kyle for posting. We all miss her.

Heyy❤! If I remember correctly, gabapentin is the generic form of LYRICA. I've taken them both. Prayers for you always ❤
I hate the pain scale they say 1 is like a bump 10 is the worst pain you have ever felt. I'm a big baby the 1 is a 10 to me lol. You are so pretty and brave. P😮lus I can see your a fighter and are going to TKO this cancer. I went thru it with my dad years ago and a year ago with my husband. They messed around and kept telling him they were getting his Chemo prepaired. After 6 months of doiing this to him and being in a lot of pain with no relief they decided Chemo was off the table. Still 1 pain pill was suppose to last 24 hrs. It lasted maybe 6 and he had no back ups. The only time he got relief is when hospice took over thanks to an intern that saw the horrible care he was getting. You have wonderful Drs. I wish he would have found atleast 1 good one to care enough to atleast treat the pain. I thought OH. Was better than this but no. I lost him a year ago last month. Jenny don't let them play around with your life. Your doing fantastic make them fight for you like they are doing. I pray this cancer dries up and is gone forever. Take care of that beautiful family and of course yourself always. Thank you for sharing this with everyone.❤
So happy to hear your appointment went well. I'm praying for you and your family.
Your hair is so so cute! and my favourite ride at Disneyland is Mr. Toads. I almost think it’s because I lived in Anaheim when I was little. It was back in the old days when we had ticket books instead of an entrance fee. I had an older brother and sister who would give me there tickets to ride as a trade for T cups(which made me dizzy) So moral of the story is Disneyland really is a memory maker of love for family and fun. ❤
*their
Aaaawh your dad is so lovely.💙
I pray for you that you will have less pain in the future (no pain at all) 🙏🙏🙏❤🧡💛
I have had the advantage of not being afraid of death and knowing what to expect since I died and it’s not as bad as I thought. It’s the leaving people behind that is the unfortunate part.
Continue to be blessed<
Awake each morning with a grateful ♡
Pain scales are too subjective and don't mean much. I have back trouble and hate being asked to rate the pain because my perception of my pain is not the same as anyone else. I like your take on it. Try to quantify it for others by describing something they can relate to - like a paper cut.
Jenny the treatment for cancer is much worse than the cancer it's self especially when it goes on for years and treatment changes. I can hear a difference in you on this this last treatment. Jenny as a life long panic attacks l would love to see one in action. They can be so bad people think they are dying with them l have had them from 18y to now 73ys cancer op and anxiety panic attacks etc with old age problems not in a good place. I am going through all this on my own so watching you helps me in a lot of ways thankyou Jenny and Kyle xxxx lost my husband at 43ys with a brain aneurism ❤❤
Hi Jenny, I was wondering if with the gabapentin if you felt puffy? Bloated like? And if you gained weight with that bloating too? I feel like I'm filled with air or fluid. It's weird
First comment from me in the UK. You are looking so well now ( though it can be annoying to hear when you don’t feel well ). You and your lovely family are so impressive. Xxxx
Thomas N. Seyfried is a professor of Biology at Boston college and received his PH.D he is on the RUclips he got some great news to share please just look at the video my best friend the holy Spirit led me to him
Iam so proud of you. I know i have been battling that beast. It is not easy. But I live o e day at a time. But the pain is so hard. But I know we can do it. Thankyou for always being there. Love you
Jen I think that Lyrica would help you so much with your nerve pain!! It has helped me so much since I switched from Gabapentin🤗 I just want you to get some relief from the nerve pain. I hope you and your docs can work something out!! Ellis did so good in dance class🥰🥰 I hope you guys have a great week✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
If it's not TMI for you, would you and Kyle do a "how we met" and "when we knew we should be together" video?! You two love so hard...on each other, on your kids, etc. Thanks and blessings to my favorite family of four ❤❤❤❤
Brilliant idea, would love to hear the story, it lifts my heart to see and hear the love they have for each other. If I could change places with Jenny I would in a heartbeat. I would willingly take her illness and set her free of it to be happy and painfree . It is cruel that she is going through this awful sickness.
"Over thinking" w/the pain scale. If its bad, its a 10 for me.
Morning Jenny- I'm having breakfast -on catch up crew.
Give yourself a BIG pat on your back for coping with what's been thrown at you every day.
You find positives in small things that many of us take for granted.🤗❤️
Btw your hair is lovely - I know the style is " by accident" - remnants of chemo side effects but really suits you.
Wee Shilo..like my Layla- eyesight poor 🤗❤️🐾

I went to Heaven and came back so I am part of a group of a bunch of people who have had a NDE. Heaven was by far the best trip I have ever had and I was actually sad to have to leave and come back from my death. Honey, you are going to be ok, I promise you.
