I drove for over 40 years before retiring, I can honestly say that the FL10 was the most comfortable unit I ever drove. I drove one continually from 1998 til 2002,great truck even though a little underpowered at 44tonnes by today's standards.
Does anyone remember a firm that ran fleet of these volvos, all white with bark blue bumper, no sign writing on trucks or fridge, pulled fridges, had a few MANs aswell, use to run to ireland back in late 80s early 90s, i worked in meat factory in midlands off ireland, they use to pack load pork back to England, lovely well maintained fleet,
Fab video as always , seems like yesterday. The FL10s were always a pretty good puller , nice to drive , the first I drove with a sort of cruise control ...a short stick ( about 2 inches) on the dash if I remember right . The bunk was a bit soft , especially on the edge getting out , many a time I fell out 😁 .
I loved the video, i drove a few of these back in the day , i loved them, great ole work horse no giving up with them

Where do you get your photos from please? My boyfriend's dad's wagon is featured in this one...the Blades one from Barnoldswick.
