Spent 32 hours this weekend since Friday night watching CJI, ADCC and UFC...Easily one of my son and I greatest weekends of our lives! I was genuinely concerned for Gordon's health during the Felipe match, there was a moment there where he came up on top after a hard scramble late in the match and I thought he was going to pass out. Glad he was able to survive and cement his legacy, but man I really hope he can go away and get healthy. At this point it seems like we'll be lucky if he's still alive for the next ADCC =[

Same as the UFC. Promoters keep thinking the PPV model (or with Flo the annual sub model) is going to make them the most amount of money, when in actuality a TV deal (or RUclips deal with sponsors) is the best. It's why the NHL can afford an average contract of 3.5m/player with roughly the same viewership as the UFC, yet the UFC's average fighter makes less than 200k/year.
