They fought with an incredible pace. The only difference maker was Merab's unlimited cardio, Umar was toe 2 toe with Merab's grappling in the first 2 rounds until he ran out of gas in the 3rd round. Then it was Merab's show onwards. Easily a FOTY contender. One of the best grappling matches i've ever seen. Merab is a cardio monster.
Merabs performance was legendary. That fight made the card worth it. No longer can anyone say he's boring. He got bullied into this fight and it's good to see him silence the critics.
