I'm a mechanic myself, and never thought of this solution.. but it makes perfectly sense since the hinge stop work on both left and right side, so the rollers are worn to left side and new would come out on rotation, just as if you are moving the stop to the right door... thank you man 👍👍👍

I honestly don´t understand that people are bothering, doing this. A new part costs only 25 Euros and in 9 out of 10 cases in less than 3 weeks the old door limiter will make noises again. Just change the old limiter and done.
for me that tutorial didn't work (I have Opel Astra J). I replaced the broken door limiter with the new one using this tutorial (ruclips.net/video/hGdym1HmXu0/видео.html, from 8:45) . I removed the door panel and the sound speaker. After that the door limiter could be replaced.

two step rotation? 180 in clockwise, than again 180 in the same direction after two bolts loose?

IT REALLY WORKS. O DID IT.
I know a faster way, spray it with silicone grease and it will stop clattering. One spray is effective for 2-3 years. I promise you this ....
