Origins: Creationism, Evolution, and an Orthodox Theology of Creation
patristicnectar.org/bookstore...
Patristic Nectar Publications is pleased to present a new five-lecture series by His Grace, Irenei, Bishop of London and Western Europe for the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, entitled ORIGINS: Creationism, Evolution and an Orthodox Theology of Creation. Well-known patristics scholar and respected arch-pastor Bishop Irenei labors in this series to help believers approach the theology of creation from the presuppositions of the Church instead of through the prisms of evolution and creationism. By an intensive examination of the foundational texts of Genesis, together with numerous sources from the Church Fathers, Bishop Irenei enables us to perceive the Church’s own theological priorities and emphases when addressing the subject of creation.
Lecture titles include:
Lecture #1 The Lamb Slain Before the Foundation of the World: Moving Beyond Creationism and Evolution
Lecture #2 The Order of Salvation: The Creation of the Cosmos as the Beginning of the Church in Genesis
Lecture #3 The Fashioning of Man: The Pinnacle of Creation
Lecture #4 Creation and Its Consequences: The Sanctity of Life and Ecology
Lecture #5 Review with Q and A

Yes! I do yearn martyrdom. Serving our Lord is something worth dying for. The more i serve the lord and pray the less fear i have of death. ☦️

Thank you, Father. Let our end, at least, be in Christ, & if He wills to grant us the Highest gift of the Holy Spirit, let it be for Him as well. And in the meantime, let us live in & for Him! Glory to God!
I needed to hear this message tonight. It's been a rough day but this made it better.
I thank God for you father. I'm a month into my catecumenate.
Protestant looking at becoming Catholic ! Fr. Josiah is by far my favourite Orthdox Priest !!!
christian may i ask a question as a Roman Catholic for 68 years. after the late 80 s i now longer went to the diocese Mass. i became a catechist under a traditional Bishop in La Crosse WI then only assisted at the Latin Mass St Puis X and fraternity of St. Peter. mostly Pius X. few Roman Catholics are traditional Catholics.
Do you go to the nous ordo or "ordinary form" of Holy Mass? thanks.
Glory to God
Amen 🙏 ☦️☦️☦️

Say if we lived in a Godly world why would we ever desire to be martyred only in this world because it's so wicked God have mercy!!!
If the world was Godly and perfect in Christ.......of course there would be NO need to be martyred.
God bless!
So now we know the reason for martyrdom is the place God has us is wicked
