Gibby Escobedo co founder of the Latin Breed, a good friend since 1972, Frank Perez and Lonnie LaLanne, premier trumpet players, Valentino Maltos, as good a saxophone player as you are going to find. On Drums, the fantastic Richard Solis, and on bass, the late, great, Pete Garza, who may not have had an equal at his instrument. The Breed has always had the best singers in the industry, Adalberto Gallegos on this video, Jay "The Voice" Perez, and the original one of a kind vocalist, the late great Jimmy Edward. This is the band that Emilio Castillo, founder of Tower of Power, once called The band that is more Tower of Power, than Tower of Power! You won't find a tighter brass section than these guys! This band is la creme de la creme.

Concuerdo con eso de la batería ,esta banda LATÍN BREED era la favorita de mi padre que ya falleció ,siempre desde niño la escuché y siempre me pareció maravillosa ,hay incluso un álbum en el que en una canción lleva un solo de batería al comienzo y eso de niño te parece maravilloso ,yo también toco batería y percusiones y esta banda fue una gran influencia en mí y mis ganas de llegar a ser músico ,saludos desde Obregón Sonora México
