A curious fact that few people know, the F50's V12 can be configured without mechanical modifications to generate almost 800hp like the F50 GT, and some F50 left the factory already with this specification!
I think the standard stock configuration was made to preserve the fantastic engine for decades ahead. But the "real" engine power is 800hp like in F50 GT as you mencioned.
@@kingbrianmendes the stock configuration was simply for better driveability at lower Rpms, for example in cities and daily driving. The engine itself had way more potential.
@@hasangenc2922 Yes. You're right. A N/A V12 like of the Ferrari, with so good intake airflow, have a awesome atrottle x torque response. And not all Ferrari clients are race drivers or have the skills to handle this beast in traffic.
Tbh, I never understood why many people don't like the F50 as much as the F40. Could it be the looks? Idk. I equally like both. Besides, the F50 is a typical 90s Hypercar design, with very intense curves. It's no different than any Hypercar of its time. The orgasmic V12 is certainly the best part of the F50 though, with the looks coming at a close second. 💗😎🤘
I always found the F40 to be slightly overrated in its apparence, plus living with one on a daily basis would be an absolute nightmare, as it is by most accounts the F40 is a truly awful care to drive daily. I'll take the F50 10 times over. Not only do you get gorgeous looks, but you get a car with a brilliant driving position and V12 sound.
The "regular" F50 has a lazy sounding V12. It lacks the high pitch crescendo and frantic revving characteristics one would associate with a V12 powering such a car. The F50 GT sounds and revs how an F1 inspired V12 should. Current Ferrari V12's sounds incredible though.
You gotta remember this is a 30 year old car. It was much more difficult to detune racing engines for street legality at the time, and this car was a big example of this. I actually really like the “lazy” sound it has. It just feels more raw and mechanical imo
As an F50 owner I can tell you that driving at 9000rpm each day will cost you your engine within ten days. And it's not cheap. Believe me. You can buy a second hand F50 for that.

Wow how so? Running race fuel and increasing redline and timing?
Just by a single tune?

Most underrated Ferrari ever.
The F50 and the Enzo, yes for sure.

Agreed. My dad thinks the F40 is faster than the F50. I think it’s the other way around

See one on the highway, and you’ll lose your marbles. Like a UFO in the flesh.
Good looking except for the front fascia.
It's definitely an amazing car,but looks wise it's the worst halo Ferrari imo,on the other hand the F40 is the best looking Ferrari ever.
they are stoopid

F50 such a cool and underrated car what a beast!
My first ever poster of a car when younger was the F50, amazing
Is there anything more beautiful than that yellow F-50? .... That 456, not too shabby!
I like that gray 599 as well! But the F50 is really amazing!
Ferrari F50 is the best Ferrari ever produced *change my mind*
I had no idea they were so good in the snow.
My dad's favorite Ferrari, and mine too. I wouldn't mind driving one, but only in video games lol
Mechanical art, love it!! Great video, thank you!
that yellow really changes the aesthetic of the f50
One of the best sounding cars ever made
This thing sounds so angry, I love it.
Your videos are the best
The F50 is my all-time favorite car
imported them in the early 2000's in costa mesa under the new then law Show and Dispaly. fabulously raw vehicles with an outrageous stance
Best Ferrari ever !!!
#F50Forever! 😍
One of the best sounding
I love snow. You can do some mad drifting and still be under the speed limit.
Very rare gem.
The f50 is so gorgeous it looks like a toy .

The Lamborghini countach had 4 valves per cylinder in it's V12. this bad boy had 5 valves per cylinder
It's a beautiful thing
F1 V12 installed in F50
so nice
What better for Ferrari red Classic or yellow 😅 ???
That cgt sounded so much better high pitch noise
What’s that yellow car in the background at 1:00?
Looks like a 750 Monza...I could be wrong tho.
It looks like a 250 swb, very cool

imo it sounds like a 90’s V12 should sound like and I love it, it brings the car character and makes it stand out from the other screeching V12’s
