It's always full of the typical mass produced cars and the luxury yachts on wheels that no one cares about. You are immeasurably lucky to have gotten to see it in person even if you never got to hear it running. I've seen many rare, classic, and exotic cars in person, but I've yet to come across any of my favorite unicorns.
These cars are so beautiful and perfect that any single word wouldn't do them justice. Literally this video brought tears in my eyes. I have always loved these cars especially the F50 and F50GT. I wish and hope one day...I could at least see one in person.

@@sjf1981 The Laferrari is an awesome machine, however you truly can't compare it to these two. These two are track legends, not comparable to a road legal car. I too have seen and even sat in a Laferrari and a Porsche 918, now while they are faster, they still don't hold a candle to these two aura and character.
initialmoe absolutely! These are true unicorn cars. The la Ferrari is not quite a unicorn. AndF 40 LM or F 50 GT or a Porsche GT one or McLaren F1 GTR . I couldn’t imagine id freak out
F50 GT is what the original car was supposed to be. A basically untamed F1 engine in a Ferrari supercar. When they were forced to limit the revs on the standard road going car it really neutered that engine.
I love the Okayama International Circuit. It's a luxurious time with two wonderful cars running. If I knew the date and time when these two cars would run, I wanted to see them even if I paid a lot of money.😁

Papa Dragon They’re really not. LaFerrari, 918, and even P1 are great performers, but they’re quite clearly street cars first. Streetable and realistically far more comfortable and usable than either of the Ferraris here. Good luck getting that F50 through stop and go traffic.

The F50 GT is how the road version should have looked, the GT just has a more purposeful stance, a harder edged look to it. It would have been a more fitting successors to the F40.

For years I have been searching for actual footage of a 10000rpm v12 in a road car. No other car will match the is f50 in sound in my opinion. Its too bad the f50 does not perform as good as the f40. I got this information from Hot Version where both F40 and F50 did hot laps on Tsukuba and Suzuka full track. If you have any evidence of the f50 having a faster lap than the f40 send me a link. Powershot Eight I did not have a timed laps in mind, but a picture of a car as a complete driving package. It is not very surprising that F40 would be a shade faster on the stopwatch, as it is both lighter, has a boosted torque and is all in all much more uncompromised machine. But faster car does not necceserly means a better car. After all both F40 and F50 are road cars, not race cars. And much as I have read and heard, F50 is the best road car Ferrari made to this day.
That design of the rear wing hat should have been the the original one on the street F50! It's underline the F1 DNA and emancipate visually the F50 of the F40. The F50 always suffered in the shadow of his cool older brother...
Odds are 1 in 3 that I've seen this F50 GT. I saw one at the National Ferrari Convention in Colorado Springs about 20 years ago, running around Pikes Peak International Raceway. I remember being shocked that the owner told me that paid the huge amount of $1 million for this car and turned down an offer of $2 million soon after. I wonder what one is worth now.
F40 LM is arguably one of the greatest looking competition cars ever developed! The F50 GT sounds incredible with its 11k Rpm rev limit. The standard F50 sounds rather lazy in comparison. I dont know why people go on and on about how amazing a road going F50 sounds. The BMW V12 in the Maclaren F1 sounds and revs how a race derived engine should!
