Think it will be well worth it to go from a 12 Pro to a 15 Pro Max, if you can afford the price tag. Bigger screen, faster wireless charging, more physical storage memory, possibly more RAM, a much newer processing chip, higher quality 120Hz OLED display, always on display, dynamic island, periscope optical zoom lens, 48MP RAW still photo files, lighter and stronger titanium frame, 2,000 NITS screen, USB-C, bigger and better battery performance, and faster data transfer speeds. Will also fix the issue of using an aging battery on a 3 year old phone by getting a brand new phone. Seems like enough new stuff to warrant an upgrade this year.
Well stated, ive been waiting for the 15 Pro Max (Ultra) in particular because of USB-C, I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max which is the first iPhone ive ever owned and the specs and rumored expectations of the 15 seem like the correct time to jump for the upgrade.

I seen many tech reviewers say that the ultra is a separate model that is going to releases in a separate event later in 2024.
This is the first video I seen saying the pro max is the same as the ultra.
The pro max that just releases is pretty much the same size as the last gen.
A sapphire (unscratchable) screen would be Ultra.

So far 5 years together, traveled around 15 countries, mountains, hiking, skiing, jungles, rivers, waterfalls, beaches, camping, surfing, highest temperatures in the world, extreme humidity, got under water few times, fail on has face +100 times, survived motorcycle accident together. Yet he’s as good as new, never broken screen, never disappointing me, and still with %80 battery life.
I mean how can I leave him after all of that? No I’m not, we are dying together buddy!
The zoom on the camera is worth the price of admission. I still wish they would put a back panel fingerprint unlock so we can kill FaceID forever.
I hope it comes with an enormous battery life they did with the Apple Watch ultra!

@@bstaznkid4lyfe392This is true, but in the real world means very little. Moving over from Android to iPhone, iPhone battery life is far better than any android I’ve ever had (and I’ve had loads!). This is because efficiently on the iPhone is really good.

Apple knows what they're doing, though. They stop pro buyers from buying the base model by keeping the refresh rate at 60hz. If I'm going between the 2, I'm choosing 120hz. That's a deal breaker for me. If you haven't used it, you might think it's not a big deal, but once you've had it, you can't go back.

I’ve held out on buying a new iPhone since I got the 11 simply because I’ve been waiting for apple to finally do a better zoom lens. I’ve waited 4 years now… and apple just goes up to a 6x zoom.. I think it’s time to switch to android.
@TheErrorInBlackincorrect, the 3x and 10x zoom on the Samsung is optical, it’s got 2 telephoto lenses. After 30x it’s digital, the iPhone is digital after 3x
@TheErrorInBlackfalse... The s23 Ultra has a 10x uptical zoom... So if you do quick math, 10x10 = 100... So that means Samsung uses 10x digital zoom when using the 100x zoom with the 10x optical zoon
Dont listen to the other guy, what you are saying is kineoff correct... If you do the math the 15 Ultra or promax will only to like 30x zoom... The same amount of any base model Samsung phone

Well… This video didn’t age well. I just went to the Apple store and compared my iPhone 13 promax to the iPhone 15 promax and there is just not enough difference for me.
If that $1,300 price tag for the Ultra is true, it's far too high a price to pay, and I would never pay it. This is why I usually buy iPhones a model year behind and then keep them for as long as possible. Those of us on limited budgets cannot afford to do anything else.
I understand your concern about the high cost, but it's not entirely accurate to say that people on a budget are limited to buying older models outright. In reality, most people opt for monthly payments through their carrier, making even expensive phones more manageable financially. So, the $1,300 price tag isn't usually a one-time hit for most people
I miss the days when all the top features were on any screen size
I would love to see on the back of the phone by the camera. A panel that lets you see your battery life and if you have any message etc. Can’t wait to see what is coming.
I get where you're coming from, but I think adding a small screen on the back of the iPhone could actually step on the toes of the Apple Watch. A lot of people get the watch for quick glances at notifications and other info. If the iPhone starts offering that too, it might eat into Apple Watch sales. And let's be honest, Apple's not in the business of competing with itself
I would prefer the ultra. I only upgrade every 3 years or so, therefore I tend to purchase the high end model.
(1) ULTRA is NOT 5x or 6x optical! If it’s not 10x optical variable periscope lens with Sony IMX 903 sensor for excellent low light & back lit results, then I’ll NOT be buying an Apple iPhone this year.
(2) For the higher cost of ULTRA I’ll also expect more top notch technology that has previously leaked for iPhone 15 ULTRA: (a) 8k video which means (b) 8GB memory, (c) stereo speakers, (d) capability for 3D photographs & 3D Video possibility (w/Dolby?)
What is cost to upgrade to 1TB or 2TB storage?
Change (2)c from stereo speakers to Allow 2 or more apps to run simultaneously in different partitions, and insert (2)d the new Sony ULTRA Wide 48MB lens to replace the existing 12 MB Ultra Wide lens and then insert (2)e stereo speakers … and then add (2)f add 3D photographs and (2)g 3D video if possible. Now, that would make it an real ULTRA head & shoulders above competition and you add a another $100 to $200 dollars to the purchase price of “their” New iPhone 15 ULTRA and people would be pleased to pay the extra amount & accept a later delivery of for if needed! Think about it! Competition would lose their lead over night & never be able to catch up! You still have the 300mm periscope lens camera for the 2016 iPhone plus whatever you still are planning to put into the IPhone 16 Ultra.
I forgot to mention: The Camera periscope lens should have variable zoom with 10x optical & 50x Digital all with image stabilization & pro motion

I hear you on wanting something 'ultra,' but let's be real: what problem does a foldable iPhone actually solve? Major redesigns usually address a need or push tech forward in a big way. A foldable screen doesn't do either. It's more of a novelty than a necessity. If that's the only 'ultra' feature, I'd rather stick with a phone that focuses on real improvements
I have 12 Pro Max & 10 X Max. Should I upgrade?
I think they will call it iPhone 15, iPhone 15 plus, iPhone 15 pro and iPhone 15 ultra. So each phone have their own category
Rotating the highly unlikely concept images i.e. iPhone with a Digital Crown and back screen is annoying.
Normally I would buy the smaller pro but kinda considering getting the pro max/ultra for better zoom, bigger battery, bigger screen and bigger speakers. I prefer the one handed ease of use of the smaller pro but I like the big screen, big speaker, big battery life of the max. I’ll wait and see what they have for us. Using the 13 Pro.

I’m sitting on an 11 Pro. My last iPhone 11 Pro clapped out around this time last year, only 2 weeks inside the warranty period so they gave me a brand new (or maybe refurbished 11 Pro, you wouldn’t know) and it’s still going great to this day, so I really can’t justify the move until this one claps or Apple heads down a path I don’t like with the 16 Pro line up. I’ll keep an eye out on next year’s 16 and maybe I’ll pounce on the 15 Pro ‘Max’ then???
I am doing research for my sister 😂. She is using the Huawei nova 3i from 2018, my family is planning for her to switch to an IPhone, well my sister needs an iPhone since most people around her uses and iphone; it will be easier for her to communicate with her friends (air drop and more, I know nothings abt it I am an android dude). 😂😂 I am the tech guy in the family, I think the 15pro should be perfect for my sister!

Edit: Battery in my opinion has to do with iOS 16… since after updating to it once it released i noticed battery drain increased, thus leading to charging more frequently.

With its own chassi, a different screen and even a watch face touch on the back like you have in your renders. People won’ mind the price if its truly a unique phone. @@SidResistance yes make it a foldable. Super premium phone. Put cutting edge features on it that you can’t get anywhere else. Even create a new division in Apple to do nothing but the Ultra product line. It can be a way for Apple to leap ahead of the Android platform in a small specialized way. Premium customers will be glad to pay for it.

Comparing the cost of an iPhone to a MacBook is a bit off the mark. Sure, both might have a similar price tag, but how we pay for them is usually different. And let's be real-if someone's willing and able to drop $1300 in one go for an iPhone, they're probably not too concerned about the cost. That's a choice and a financial flexibility that a lot of people don't have or wouldn't make.

I’m a bit more excited for updates or new Apple Watch features. Thinking an updated AWU might be a nice upgrade to my current AW 5.
If it ends up being called Ultra it will just be a marketing ploy to justify the price tag.

You have 2 iphone 15s that will be watered down 14pro models, same chipset, one of the camera modules, & gets dynamic island.
I can see UsB C being there main focus, focusing on the bezels being a little bit smaller, saying its the best camera on Iphone ever!
Its pretty astounding how we have been getting the same iphone line up since 2020. The only difference now will be a price increase. If the iphone 13 was called the 12S. Then the 14 line was called the 13 line. It might really help apple to go back to a different naming scheme.
I do find it pretty amazing how they reel people in with the most minimal new improvements.
The last time we had actual design changes & features added was 2016-2017.
We had the iPhone 7 to 8 which we saw a dramatic design change and the biggest camera leap, at the same time with the iphone X.
We then had the glass rounded devices from 8,8plus,X,XS,XR,11 & then switched back to flat edges with all olded panels on iPhone 12. We have only seen magsafe, 5G, more screen brightness, faster charging, esim & gps calling, the notch become more intrusive & very minimal ios updates, very minimal battery & camera improvements. This will be the 4th variant and hopefully final one to move on from this design.
The Iphone XS had oled displays, the 11 took it away but the 11pros had oled displays. 😂
To then used oled as a feature on all the 12s like it was new lol. But we had it since the X in 2017.
The Iphone 11 was a mix of the XR design, & the 11pros where the start of the pro line. Where it actually had vast differences from the 11 making it superior.
Now an Iphone 13s are so similar to the 14 I consider it a downgrade as the esim is huge blow to cell service.
The iphone 14pro line & 15 Pro needs to have exclusive features in Ios 17. They need live wallpapers again, especially for an always on display. They need to add more camera functions. They need to add landscape mode back. They need themes on all ios devices. They need improved service.

I didn't ask for this recommended video. Yall need to switch to Samsung S23 Ultra. Can do HDMI out for screen mirroring or connect for Dex and get a full blown desktop os. I can connect a usb thumbdrive to the Galaxy or even a hardwire network adapter. Android can do multiple windows that are overlayed or side by side, the multitasking is insane. Also 200MP. You guys should come to the light.

I hope they keep the 3x tele for portraits as I think its the perfect focus length for portraits. If we get a periscope lens, anything less than 10x will be pathetic since Samsung has had 10x optical for years now.

Samsungs 10x is only 10mp though so if they had a 5-6x 48Mp camera, it could theoretically be far better than Samsungs.
@@The.JZA. highly, highly doubtful they would do a 48MP periscope sensor. Hopefully Apple does something that is higher than 10MP. It’d be nice if Apple actually increased the MP across all the cameras but Apple doesn’t do that often.

I own iPhone 13 Pro Max 1 TB which is still in warranty with battery already in its 80 % . My next phone will be Samsung or any phone wit serious innovations . To be honest if it were to be an ultra phone it needs to have the biggest screen kind of like the Apple Watch ultra has the biggest screen. To accomplish this they should come out with a fold out phone like Samsung. I don’t think the iPhone doesn’t deserve the ultra name if they are just going to give us a slightly better camera, battery, and faster processing only. If that’s all they are improving on the phone I’m probably going to save money and get the iPhone 14 pro max because I have a ton of lightning charging cables.
