Brilliant 💙 Thank you for uploading. I have never seen this footage of my dad or this interview. So lovely to see him well and hear his voice again 💙⚽️
Good on you Kim, your dad was a great lad, remember standing outside Leeds Road, Huddersfield waiting for him to turn up for games, he would always sign autographs, give kids like me tickets to get into the game, never forgotton, great man
I watched Frank Worthington at Filbert Street many a time. He remains in my mind the best forward player I have seen. Liverpool's loss was our gain. R I.P Frank 💙🏐💙
Birmingham fan,Frank was great for us,just like he was for every other club he played for,-met him in Tampa Florida in 1981, when he was playing for the Rowdies, and had a picture with him and his daughter taken,-really nice guy and what a player,-he was on the end of his career around that time, and enjoying his time in the sunshine state,-RIP ,Frank,--KRO
What a great clip, my first away game was Huddersfield in the same season, we won 0-1 with a Colin Waldron goal, Frank Wortington was a great player, the goal he scored for Bolton against Ipswich was an act of pure genius
Great player,Frankie is still my all-time HTFC hero. Some smashing players in the team ,Hoy outstanding "on his day" and Jimmy McGill would always tackle with pure venom. In Frankie's early days I'd watch him play for Town Reserves on the alternate Saturday's when first team were away...then later went to Hillsborough to watch him play for Southampton and towards the back-end if his career went, with my brother and 2 chums,to a match at Stockport (after I'd bought a programme and noticed his name was missing from the team-sheet the prog seller said he'd broken his cheek-bone the previous game)... WOW,that was a dreadful game vs Mick Buxton's Scunthorpe Utd . R.I.P. Frankie
That's amazing , I too was at that Stockport Vs Scunthorpe match . Went over with my mate and a couple more in his square steering wheeled Austin Allegro . I can still smell that clutch to this day.. Top player Frankie , used to see him many years later in jack Pearson's bookies in lindley , always had a smile on his face.

Always admired and loved here in Thailand..
I watched Frank Worthington at Filbert Street many a time.

Liverpool's loss was our gain.
R I.P Frank 💙🏐💙
He’d be almost priceless today, outstanding player.
What a bloody player! That team was superb, my first memories of Town. Never forgotten Frankie! UTFT
Lovely interview with Frank, didn't know he supported Burnley as a kid.
R.I.P.. Frank
" Up the Clarets"
I didn't know that either. I wish he'd played for us. UTC
There will never be another an absolute joy to watch what a player
I was there as a Burnley fan. Frank was right: I enjoyed it, despite the 2-3 setback. Good to hear Frank was a Burnley fan. RIP, Frank Worthington.

MY ALL TIME HERO
Mine aswell,real entertainer.
Same here watched him at Huddersfield when I was 17 hooked for life true legend
@@StephenBuffery we must of stood int Cowshed together
The modern day George Best.... swashbuckling/subtle one touch player... ahead of his time
I went to that match. Good memories Frank. RIP. UTT.
Don't stop beleiving Frank!
Oh I just googled, RIP, my thoughts are with 'the ladies'.
I was at Burnden when he scored that ball juggling goal a real football maverick
I tell ppl now, Burnley were a big club when I was small. I never forget they always did us (Spurs) at Turf Moor. Pop Robson especially.
These lads did it on all surfaces, notice snow and ice and pitches hacked up ,much easier on bowling green surfaces like today .
🎶🎶Oh Frankie Frankie!!....🎶🎶Remember the chant well!
Worthington was a childhood Burnley supporter.
Alan ball ,blackpool fc and England 🏴🏆
I went to that game. Brilliant match. UTC!!!

err,.. what offside rule did they play back in those days?
Frank was still going to the bookies in huddersfield before his death
I was there wi me day 8 years old
The Golden age
Brilliant at brum
I tell you what, the Coates disallowed goal should have stood...!!! Clearly onside!
As was Hoy's disallowed one.
VAR! VAR!
Quite sad to watch this. So many lost to dementia. Others before their time.
02:20 Born in Halifax, not Huddersfield.
It said his career was born in huddersfield, not him
He loved huddersfield he lived in lindley
