31 years later, here we are. My son phoned to wake me up and say, "Mom I heard "Satisfied" on the radio this morning." He said I played it for him 5 times one day. He is 13 years old and heck if he wants to talk rock music then he can hear some good quality rock! Richard Marx at his finest and he could really dance too!🎸👌
Same here. Lol my son was born in 85 to a young 17 yr old and said mom thank you for raising me in the best music era ever! Took me to see Richard last February as well as we sang every song word for word! ❤

Richard, it may look like a helmet but it was one, damn nice helmet! Every Saturday morning I listen to old broadcasts of American Top 40 w/ Casey Kasem. Today's was originally broadcast on May 7th 1988. It started with Endless summer nights. I just wanna thank you for such a timeless tune. You are beautiful! You know this!
Richard Marx helped define a generation of 80's-early 90's music. Everyone caught his groove, and loved it. I am an artist, and I remember listening to his CD the whole time I was working on a very detailed pencil drawing. I owe that in helping me tap into my artistic creativity. I went on to do another one. They turned out amazing.
That riff got stuck in my head from nowhere. I had to find which song it was. So here I am ! Very catchy and has good memories. Growing up in the 80's was fun.
I like this song by Richard marx I heard on the radio before in the 80s and I listen to his Repeat offender album in my cd player that song is very good to sing with him and I like his mullet of hair ♥️
When I was young, I used to listen to it a lot when I felt like my heart was about to break. Thank you for supporting me at that time. From an island country far away in the far east, I send my gratitude.
I'm so glad this video broke a million views! For a #1 top 40 hit in the U.S. it should be alot more! Looking forward to seeing him perform this November in Pittsburgh! What a great artist!
I was 7 years old when this song was released, but didn't hear about it until a few years later. What a great time to grow up though. Awesome music and pretty carefree childhood.
I was 11/12 years old when this album was burning up the charts. Richard Marx had an immense amount of talent, and that might be somewhat of an understatement. Didn't really appericate his musicianship then like I do now. Pop music was so much better back then, the meaningful lyrics, actual live instruments, melodies crafted to work in sync with a talented vocalists chords.

We work our bodies weary to stay alive
There must be more to living than nine to five
Why should we wait for some better time
There may not even be a tomorrow
Ain't no sense in losing your mind
I'm gonna make it worth the ride
Don't you know, I won't give up until I'm satisfied
Don't you know, why should I stop until I'm satisfied
Ignore the hesitation, that ties your hands
Use your imagination, and take a chance
I won't let my moment of truth pass me by
I've gotta make my move now or never
And if they turn me loose on this town
They're gonna have to hold me down
Don't you know, I won't give up until I'm satisfied
Don't you know, why should I stop until I'm satisfied Yeah
Oh, don't you know, ain't gonna stop until we're satisfied
Don't you know, we shouldn't stop until we're satisfied
