I interned at a radio station and lots of bands came through the doors. These guys WERE BY FAR the nicest. As I said I was an intern and barely anyone paid attention to me, I taped interviews and took pictures. These guys shook my hand both in and out genuinely. I was playing guitar in our room waiting and the guitarist asked what I was playing (just one of our locals acoustics) and sat down and played lead along with me. Ryan and I talked troops (father was over there) BEST GUYS EVER!
@@MrCashewkitty prayers for you I was addicted to scripts every single one of them for 3 years this November makes 6 years free, had to have my stomach pumped twice, and a near fatal od finally got me on the right path away from them, and I was an alcoholic at the same time as the script addiction
This song 37stitches is great it has lots of heart felt lyrics. A person that consumes my heart turned me on to this song. I love her and this song rocks!!!!
Heard SOiL perform this live earlier this year, and I had a few tears rolling down. After the show, I got to shoot the shit with Ryan for a little while, and he even signed my cd.
I got to also in Janesville Wisconsin it was awesome!!!!! @ the back bar!!!! He was awesome live and came out to greet fans afterwards it was surreal!!!!!; Best concert ever!!!!
I had the pleasure of seeing both singers in small venues. I saw Ryan in flint Michigan at the machine shop, after their set he joined my girl and I on the patio for drinks and smoke, he is a genuinely great artist and down to earth person. I wish he was still with DP. #badassdude
Ditto. Saw them recently at a small venue in Angola Indiana and ran into him outside smoking. He was very chill and not an arrogant asshole like some musicians I have come across.
seen ryan perform 5 or 6 times in springfield mo at the Rockwell. Down to earth dude always was down to drink a few and shoot the shit after the shows.
USED TO LISTEN TO THIS WHEN MY GIRL WAS LOCKED UP AND NOW I HAVE HER BACK AND HAVING MY SON, JUS BRINGS BACK A LOT THE TEARS I ONCE HAD WITHOUT HER. FUCKIN AYE DAM GOOD SONG
This song has sold more records than any other Drowning Pool son. I think that sorta proves that Ryan is a pretty awesome vocalist, so all you pretty out that who are complaining please stop. He is probably has one of the best voices in metal and I wish all these people that are stuck up on Dave would realize that..... ROCK ON Ryan!!
its big loss that he passed away. thanks to this leader and his fucn'g great voice i found my favourite kind of music. big pity that there did take part with only one album of DP. he was the best.
Dave Williams was the unltimate vocalist for Drowning Pool....although each of the 4, past to present vocalists have brought their own passion and energy, Dave is and always will be the best for DP! I seen him perform live, a year before he passed away and wish everytime I listen to the 'Sinner' album that I could of met him in person and shook his hand.
+jeff novak Too derivative. He's just another tongue curled under YAWL'r like Creed, Nickelhack, Theory of a Nickel hack, 2 Days Grace etc etc etc blah blah..... That other guy, who sang on Bodies: He was distinctive. Could scream and really sing. This is just an 80's cock rock ballad with darker lyrics and this ANNOYING Scott Stapp/Eddie Vedder wannabe vocal delivery....
+ROOKTABULA Your insinuating Ryan cant scream but David could? hahaha. Come on man. It doesn't need to be more than it is. Ryan sounds like other singers because, thats the genre, Dave sounded like every other screamer in a band. Thats the genre. The difference is McCombs actually had a wide range of singing skills. Dave was a one trick pony. He was a great singer, just limited.
+ROOKTABULA I personally disagree, Ryan is a great vocalist with a wide range of skills. Hell, the songs recorded with Ryan are far more interpretive and require a wider range of skills than Dave's "Sinner" album ever did. So I agree with JRock 636 here. Sorry. Where everyone may disagree with me is with Moreno, DP's newest singer. Yes, his voice young and has a high pitch, but he has a wide range of talent as well. He can sing/scream spot-on to "Bodies" and "Step Up", yet perform "In Memory Of" and "Soul" beautifully, each of these live. Highly underrated compared to the previous DP vocalists.
I've been here after my second break up..... and here I am once more .... i'm sitting here with my head down... kickin' stones down, as I'm on the road to hell....
i've been sheltered, what happened to dave? drowning pool is one of the best metal bands in my opinion, this song has before, and is now helping me cope with life. R.I.P. Dave, forever be remembered.
Agree with fishbait! This is one of the best songs and videos! It has even more meaning because it was filmed in their hometown of Dallas! I haven't met them per se, but I feel like I know them! One of my goals is to meet them! Do fun things like rate videos by joining Drowning Pool's Street Team on Fancorps!
Good song. Ryan is awesome singer, but to me he sounds like Elvis Presley in metal. He took away DP to a bit different direction from DP's original sound. Also almost all songs have some relationship/love ... in kinda positive context ... I'm not saying it is bad. But I'm just not a fan of it.
Felipe Unterrichter Rechtenthal This song sounds very similar to Rooster by Alice in Chains. Ryan McCombs definitely has a similar voice to Layne Staley.

@@RecklessEnterainment Rien you mean the only one
Εach singer, both Dave and Ryan, brings his own unique style of singing to the band. The result is awesome songs!
Dave is looking down, and he's so humble of being proud of his band still continuing the journey.
Addiction is a mother fucker...I was there for a lot of this. At 42, I'm still broken and dealing with it!

Absolutely the best song I have ever heard. Every time I listen to this song I get goose bumps and tears in my eyes. Heart touching lyrics. 🤘
ryan is the best ballad singer but as for energy and rawness the first singer will always the best.
Hellyeah. Dave and the album sinner was so fucking amazing. But there shit with ryan is good. But I just can't get into any of the newer stuff.
i know alot of people that have been waiting for a good album from Drowning Pool and they have finally got it!!!
