Enjoyed your reaction. Dimash is always amazing. The amount of times he dropped to his knees, OMG! My knees would be bruised for sure. Every time. You can feel his emotion through his voice, and through his dramatic expressions and stage presence. Dimashified and gladly admit that I have Dimashititis. 🥰 I need to listen to him every day.
Here is some more info about Dimash. He was 22 when he went on China's 'I am Singer' and he is 26 now. He was an unknown wildcard from Kazakhstan and the youngest competitor against famous and established Chinese singers. He was the very first contestant in the 14 week long competition and quickly gained fame in China. The rest of the world is finally discovering him. He is not only the best singer in the world but he is humble, kind, sweet, adorable, loving, and smart. (He just completed his Masters degree in composition and received a mark of 100% on his thesis. He is now working toward his Phd.) Dimash can sing beautifully in any genre from opera to rap. I know most people say he has a 6 octave range, but he keeps working so hard on his vocals that I think it is even higher now!! (One reactor has checked out his range and says it is now 7 octaves!!) I am one of his "Dears" (fans) and I so enjoy when someone discovers him for the first time. Minds are blown!! Please react to more of his songs, you won't be disappointed. There is just something special about Dimash and his voice. I believe it has the power to heal our hearts and souls. (Which is greatly needed in our world today.) He plays 5-6 instruments, and sings in 16 languages. Check out his NEW YORK concert ~ many flew from 40 countries to see him. His "Dear" base is out of this world

@@duncanmckinnon I heard the introduction to the song. Dimash is singing two parts, male and female. When he uses the word "Man", he is singing the female part as the female would sing to the man.
@@sandrayoung233 He is a man who sings in 12 languages. He is a professional and would know EVERY word he is singing to an international audience. There is absolutely no notification that he suddenly changes to a female role. Also, he chose to sing this song, words, meaning and all. Perhaps you're only disappointed that he might not be available to you. Whatever his real sexuality is, as I said before, who cares. The man's an excellent singer and entertainer and that's what really matters.

Agree. He was realy scared because his previous uptown funk performance was his lowest. Live or die... And he didn't fulfill his childhood dream at this point to sing a kazakh song for the big audience on TV, 2 billion spectators.

This is why I said you should watch all the singer competition first because at this time Dimash couldn’t really speak any English yet he sang this so well. Also the song before this was uptown funk which was fun however he got the lowest marks for that performance so he had to do something special and wow this is just fantastic . I still watch this one as it’s one of my favourites,there are many performances from this competition that are incredible. He was unknown to the world at this point and this was it for him,make it on here and you can go farther

What’s amazing is that he doesn’t actually understand much English at this point. I watched his birthday live-stream, and he said that two years ago, the only thing he knew in English was “My name is Dimash”. So he might know in general what he is singing, but he does not understand a lot of English at the point when he is singing this song. So to sing it with so much passion in the right places in a competition where he has limited time to learn the different songs is really an amazing achievement.
I think he knew the translation of this song. Because he wodn't sing any song not understanding it.

You also have to learn to sing the song in a language that is not familiar to you, while also learning how to pronounce the words... That’s a lot of elements to take in at once.
@@Nora-jt9zy It's actually not that hard to sing in another language as long as the notes are sung correctly. My daughter was able to sing 3 different songs in Russian in one day with practicing it all day and performed it that evening. She had one day to learn the song and she was 13 yrs old at the time.

He is a gift from God to us and to be treasured!💕 Oh btw the guy you kept mentioning calling him Papa they became good friends and Dimash showed up at one of his shows and he invited him on the stage for a song. His performances aren't just about his fantastic voice but he uses lighting, body movement, expressions, staging, clothing, etc., etc., to create a totally overwhelming reality that enfolds the listener emotionally and at every other level possible.
Three years down the road and this song is still one of my favorite song/drama I have seen....and yes he did get 1st place for this performance....
