True.. Some other reactor said he didn't get the runs done like the original, but his version sounds way better than the synthesizer sounds from the Diva Dance. I don't care... He is amazing.
As Italian I can say that his accents is almost perfect. It's very rare to hear someone sing in Italian without great inflections! 👏👏
I adore this performance! I don't know why many people prefer the Bastau Diva Dance - for me this one is at least as amazing. And I love Confessa too. Simply perfect combination.
Just wanna say that the falling over at the end is done with taekwondo technique and he practised taekwondo so it shoulden't hurt xd

Dimash is truly, truly a unique talent and a special “class” and a new evolutionary step in the vocal art. Confessa is an Italian song... and in beginning, he mixes with mandarin / Chinese few sentences.... when he sang Diva Dance.. i blow my mind... every time.. it just amazing...

I'm SO glad you reacted to this version! I love his performance of "Confessa." He pours so much emotion into it, and I love his interaction with the dancer. The long held note in the climax always gets to me! It's amazing how he creates emotion by simply changing the texture of his vibrato. Can't wait to see this! Thanks!
I've seen this video a thousand times and I can not imagine ever growing tired of it. Dimash is a legend, a force to be reckoned with. With that being said, I feel like you are too! Of the many (hundreds/thousands) of people doing reacting videos, you are by far my most favorite! There are always (often, a lot of) things you notice that goes unnoticed by almost all other reactors I've seen reacting to the same videos. Your insight in many of the aspects in the videos are precious! Nothing escapes your eyes and ears! Thank you for making an already (near) perfect artist like Dimash even more amazing to us! You were wondering how Dimash was able to switch from Confessa and directly and effortlessly into Diva Dance? Because he is DIMASH. You need to seriously watch his entire solo concert, which is 3 hours long that he sings almost non-stop, and every song perfectly delivered. Yes, it make everyone wonder "How?" Dimash is simply amazing. God's gift to us. That's how.
The fall was part of this unbelievable act.

The rolling "R" is the only way it's used in both Russian (Slavic languages) And in Kazakh. So For him it's very natural.

The rolling 'R' is why I studied Spanish through high school and college....DEFINITELY noticed the perfection of Dimash's rolled R's, that and his sense of humor perfect recipe--how can you not love him?!

Opera...I do not normally care for Chinese opera, but I loved them together...for another cultural adventure...watch Dimash and Tengri..Swan/Goose...Tengri is an amazing singer from Mongolia, and the musicians that play with them are also from Mongolia and playing traditional Mongolian instruments...it is a real party....You need to watch more of his duets...Only the best are brave enough to get on stage with Dimash...so if it is a duet..it will be wonderful.....

The part in confessa where he goes really big is so perfect because it reflects the lyrics so well. The song is basically about a man that finds out his wife is being unfaithful and I think he rendered that heart ache perfectly in his performance. That portion of lyrics, for whoever's is interested:

I have watch this multiple time and I never notice the dancer leaving the stage before, you always pin point the smallest details, it is amazing. На 14:44 Мэтью нуждается в совете. Под рукой (вернее, под ногой) в комнате есть только собака Мокко. «Мокко, я до сих пор не понимаю. Я видел это раньше, дважды. Я не помню, если это было в ною-йоркском концерте, то я видел это три раза. И до сих пор я, низкорослый, не понимаю…» На 15:11 на очень низких нотах Мэтью обратился к Димашу: «Как ты, Боже мой, как ты идешь сюда? Как ты идешь отсюда? Как три или четыре октавы прыжка, а затем снова следующая нота…» На 15:48 Мэтью в растерянности, в непонимании, не в состоянии объяснить то, что видит и слышит. Говорит Димашу: «Перестань быть таким чертовски хорошим». На 16:10 слышит лесенку вместо каскада с Бастау, опять удивился и сказал, что это не то, что мы слышали на Бастау. Мэтью порассуждал о разнице в исполнениях этого места в песне, которое «просто стаккато, и вся песня - просто стаккато», хотя Мэтью ожидал пробег, но Димаш сделал просто стаккато высокой ноты. Мэтью сказал, что он разрушается, что он ТАК СИЛЬНО относится к этому человеку, что каждый раз, когда видит его лицо, оно похоже на его лицо. На 17:00 опять ставит на повтор финальную часть песни. На 17:17, когда Димаш упал на пол, издал «ох!», что то углядел в этом моменте и решил просмотреть в замедленном темпе при выключенном звуке, чтобы не сломать уши. Мэтью разглядел черную ручку микрофона, боялся услышать стук локтя об пол и возможности перелома локтя при падении. Но, нет, это был микрофон...
////////////// ПОСЛЕ ПРОСМОТРА Мэтью порассуждал о точности нот стаккато на идеальном одинаковом уровне повсюду… И закономерный вывод - ТАЛАНТ И ТЕХНИКА, И ДАННЫЙ БОГОМ ДАР, которые абсолютно невероятны. Далее Мэтью сказал, что в этой версии была небольшая разница с версией с Бастау. Но все равно, Мэтью не понимает, как Димаш может сделать эту песню вживую? Ведь он не любит «звуковую будку звукозаписи». И то, что он только сделал с огромной запиской - это просто сумасшедшая производительность. «Конфесса», а затем он скользнул прямо в один-дубль совершенного исполнения танцевальной песни «Дива Данс», которая даже не должна быть возможна для человеческого голоса. Мэтью сидит и все пытается найти ЧТО ЭТОТ ЧЕЛОВЕК НЕ МОЖЕТ СДЕЛАТЬ?. И решил, что единственное - это то, что ДИМАШ НЕ СПОСОБЕН СПЕТЬ ХУЖЕ, ЧЕМ ОН УЖЕ СДЕЛАЛ. Мэтью сказал: «Ни один спектакль, ни один концерт Димаша и все новые вещи Димаша в музыкальных клипах, которые я слушал, в общем, что бы я не слышал, не было ни одного спектакля, который бы я не оценил выше любого другого музыкального исполнения, которые я когда-либо слышал из выступлений Димаша всех времен. … Мы уже привыкли к тому, что он (Димаш) поражает меня, но в то же время я никогда не готов к тому, что мне нечего сказать о нем.
