We come into a place of self hate by not forgiving ourselves and repeating the loop of regret and sorrow. But the more we hold onto what is done, we give it our power and keep suffering. Acceptance / forgiveness can help let that pain go ~ It might feel cringe at first or like it's not working, that's normal and okay! But please, whoever is reading this, forgive yourself, no matter what happened was meant to happen. No amount of regret or wanting things to change will ever take it back, but accepting them in and forgiving yourself will set you free. It's not fair to your past self for blaming them for things you now have knowledge for. Be easy, be gentle, and most of all, be loving to you.
