  • Hello peanut gallery! I have a new crochet pattern for you! This is a double sided stitch which makes it like two afghans sew together back to back. But we are doing it all at once. Please let me know if you'd like me to come up with a multi color version of this stitch. Thanks so much for watching!

Thank you thank you! I needed a way to put a ribbon in a project, but didn't want to weave it between the stitches. This was the PERFECT way to do it!
Love your vids and your personality. Wish we were neighbors!!

Love this idea. Will have to make and afghan using your idea, but right now I am in the process of making a prayer shawl. Our church gives prayer shawls to ladies who are in crisis. Maybe you can come up with a quick and easy idea for that. Keep up the good work.

I just tried this technique. I love it. I have to keep counting my stitches, was wondering if a person could make pieces then connect them all together.

You certainly could make blocks and attach them. Don't get too caught up on counting. Maybe count every 4th or 5th row. It's it's short, increase. If it's long, decrease. Missed stitches here and there will not show on a wide afghan. Just try to identify your first and last stitches then just trust that you'll get all the ones in between. I can make myself sick over counting (I have counting issues) so I try very hard to NOT count and just be okay with it not being perfect. And seriously, it will not show, not unless you kept screwing up on every single row. So like I said, count every few rows to see if you need to adjust. Don't worry about undoing and fixing.
