Their originals are awesome and SO underrated! Popspring has been suggested and I agree 100% It's a professionally recorded live set comprising 3 originals plus the Evolution of MJ which you just saw. Can't recommend it enough!

I love their covers, but their original music is even better. Pop Spring 2016 is so good. 3 originals and their evolution of MJ live in concert. Recorded by MTV so exceptional quality. It is just wonderful! 2 if the originals, Cracked and Water, don't have official videos so don't get reacted to much which is a damn shame. Some other great originals Love Again, Coffee in Bed, Sing, Love Me When I Don't, Ref, Anchor, Petals and so many more. Look forward to your reactions to their original work! You won't be disappointed.

I know you just watched Evo of MJ, but if you’d like to see it in a live performance (with choreography!) plus three of their originals, Popspring 2016 is great . Was filmed in Japan by MTV, so good quality.
Another original with video is Love Again. Their Daft Punk medley won them the 1st of 3 Grammies.
Other videos that include rap are covers of Problem and Can’t Hold Us and Thrift Shop
They are famous for their mashups and one of the best is New Rules x Are You That Somebody.
Just check out their catalog….not a loser in the bunch, just upgrades or originals!

They have a Popspring 2016 concert video made in Japan by MTV (so excellent video and audio quality) featuring 3 originals (Cracked, Can't Sleep Love, Water) and their Evolution of MJ. So both originals and live performance all wrapped into one! It's about 15 minutes long, but it's well worth the watch time.
Give a listen to Love Again and Can’t Sleep Love. A couple of PTX originals.
Recommend their Sound Of Silence and their Popspring 2016 performance.

Hey! You should try their originals as well. Their performance at Popspring 2016 is great, it's 3 originals + evolution of MJ. Also some of my other favorites are Love Again, Never gonna cry again, Run to you, Coffee in bed :)

Yes to the documentary, yes to originals.... I thought they did a really good job of capturing really recognizable parts of MJ's songs. Also, the transitions are just amazing. I would love them to do complete versions of almost every song in this. Thanks for your reaction
Or if you dont want to pay for the dounentary they have yeaars of tour vlogs called Ptxperience that is wonderfully interesting and fun to watch. I personally love when reactors go through that journey.

I would suggest their cover of Problem, LA LA Latch mashup, all their evolutions, etc.
They are so many that they have done that I fell back in love with the songs and them all over again. They have even revamped their Christmas music until I love Christmas music again.
Ya, usually a group would fall apart after one member leaves but not this group. They gained a wonderful member by the name of Matt as a bass. He took over after Avi got burned out on the fast pace that Pentatonix was going at and other personal circumstances. Avi decided to not hold the group back so he stepped away so they could continue what they were doing.
Because he has to beatbox, we are so appreciative of Kevin's sweet tenor voice when does sing. These evolutions blow my mind. To remember and execute seamlessly 20+ beatbox, baseline and background vocals is amazing.
Great reaction! This is a favorite for me - couldn't watch it without getting all soppy for the first dozen times, thinking about the musical genius we lost when he left us. They even did this whole medley live in their concerts for a couple years, adding some choreography. If you get around to reacting to their Popspring concert video, you can see this live, along with 3 original songs - Cracked, Can't Sleep Love and Water. It's a longer video, but very good to react to, and we Pentaholics will certainly check it out with you. It was professionally filmed and recorded, from a concert series they did in Japan.
I don't know if anyone's mentioned it, there are 25 of MJs hits in this Evolution! I'm voting for Popspring as well!

Okay, I've seen a lot of PTX reactions, but when they went into "Will You Be There" (the River Jordan bit), that was one of the best Mitch-slap faces I've ever seen. xD
This is my favourite of their "evolution' videos, probably because I know o many of the older MJ songs. But when Mitch hits those notes that Michael owned so iconically, the whole medley moves to a new level. Brilliant! Great reaction, as always!

Mitch standing next to Scott always makes him look short. At 5'10" when Scott is 6'3 or 4", almost everyone looks short.

PTX won the 3rd season of the singoff. They completely changed the face of a cappella.. Another a Capella group is home free. They won the 4th season of the singoff. Their music is more country. However their cover of Percy sledge's when a man loves a woman Leaves me breathless. Austin does A superb Job And I can listen to the first 6 words Of the song All day long. The following Is a link to a video titled a beginner's guide to Pentatonix. If I remember correctly It has both Avi and Matt. he left the group in 2017 for personal reasons and very amicably Avi is actually a basso profundo and Has blown speakers. Mitch, the gentlemen with the High voice is a Counter tenor. True counter tenors Are rare..

Love Again is an original. When their careers were young they did a live concert, PopSpring, with three originals and the Michael Jackson Evolution. It is a little long but well worth the watch. Also for fun, is the Gangnam Style, with bloopers and Thrift Shop. Both are good. While you are on the evolutions, 90's Dance Medley is awesome. Thanks for your reactions! Great stuff.

There's that Mitch slap again 🤣 Mitch is the one that hits the high notes you're talking about. I'm not going against the documentary/beginner's guide, but keep in mind you will hear clips of a lot of songs/videos.
love the reaction Sean, as for MJ we were born the same year so grew up listening to the Jackson 5 and of course later in life Michael both of us had similar voices except mine was probably closer to Mitch's so love everything that PTX does just because it takes me back to my younger years when i could still hit all those notes without any effort, unfortunately 50yrs of smoking have killed that ability, please react to more of their music and definitely check out some of their original stuff its all mind blowing.
