I am replacing the AC compressor and condenser on this 2010 Toyota Prius these videos will give you a general idea and walkthrough on how to perform this job.

I would. I have to many come backs and issues not replacing the whole system. also I've learned if you replace the whole system every thing is now under parts warranty and if there is an issue in the future you can figure it out easily.
