In primary school we used to have Bilble studies once a week, despite not being a religious school. I remember everyone hated it, but I used to look so forward to it. They always used to play this exact video and I loved it. Looking back at how much Jesus has changed my life since then is insane, but I've only gotten closer to him. I am forever greatful to te people who led me to the Lord and encouraged me to go against my own mothers will just to walk the path with His guidance. It is a decision I'll never regret. I was a happy, innocent and hopeful 8 year old back in Bible studies, now I'm 14 and fighting for my life everyday. I truly believe the Lord will provide and show me the path. He will speak life and execute his will. He will love and protect me. He will guide me and encourage me along the path. I will accept and trust in His will and follow His guidance. I will love Him forever. Amen ✝️

The stronger you become with God he will put you through challenges but one thing I want you to know from my experience is God will put you back in the same storm only to make you realize what you couldn’t realize before. If you are going through something that continues to be a struggle sometimes it’s good not to fight but to not do nothing and keep doing what you have been doing. Have hope, patience and understanding of God, yourself and others.

In 2014 I had this song as my ringtone. My phone rang one night and it was nephew saying my brother had been in an accident & was critical. I felt Jesus say Pray the words of the song. Speak life. Myself & many others prayed. My brother survived & is living life to the full. Thank you Jesus!!!

I love this song and it is great for dancing too. As a Christian myself it is a really good upbeat song that doesn't sound like a weird Christian song it is more of an any person song. I love this song so much TobyMac is really skilled to be able to make such an amazing song. Love the work he does!

Love how this song can be interpreted in multiple ways. On one hand you have the Christians who know Toby is Christian so they see it religiously. Then you have everyone else who simply sees it as an uplifting song meant to tell you to see the world in a better light. That's the sign of a true musical genius!
It's helpful to my family. My Dad's mom was fighing with my dad on the way on vacation I said I want speak life so they stopped and started fighting again so after the song I said again they stopped and started I said again and after this time it worked Thank you God! You help us when ever!

I love the song. The first I ever heard of Christian contemporary music I loved it. Growing up music about the Savior was my favorite to listen to. I didn't like a lot of the mainstream music I heard on the radio because a lot of it is full of trash. I grew up in a strong christian home and I've had a strong faith since I was small. My parents loved the hymns. They were my favorite songs. Last night my seminary teacher had our class sing one of my favorite hymns. The Spirit was amazing! I didn't even know that church music existed in popular modern styles like pop and rock because all we heard was the hymns until my senior year in high school. When I got my first personal electronic device my favorite videos to watch were short clips made for the youth in my church that shared recent messages from our ministers who are over the entire church (twice a year) we have a very special worship service for all our believers throughout the world where members of our senior clergy give sermons. I loved these messages. There were a few music videos too. These videos were the first contemporary worship music I ever heard. It turned out that they were off an album that came out that year '15. The songs were composed and performed by young men and women in the church. The same time I found these records the following year after I was attending a new school as an 18 year old freshman my new teacher introduced me to the K- Love station! The music changed my life and helped me feel the love of the Savior. As for this song the first artist I heard it from was a female Christian pop group from my church. I'm falling in love with this singer already! Thank you Jesus 🙌

I have to admit, I started as a DC Talk fan, but when I first watched 'Grace Card' and heard 'City on our Knees' I knew I was going to be in a toss up. It really shows the power of words! It shows that using kind words really makes someone's day and can help them happier and more hopeful. I certainly know words can be a helpful thing or a weapon and this song really explains how words should be used to build up someone's life not destroy it like some jerks. I've felt mean or uninspiring words in my head before and this song (along with others) is so helpful in keeping my faith alive during dark times. This song is speaking life to me just like God and Jesus do. I aspire to speak life. I hope this comment isn't too long

I find it strange that as someone who obviously claims not to believe in God should be visiting a Christian music video. For what purpose? If you haven't yet come to the recognise on an intellectual level what you already know in your spirit- that God exists- might I suggest that you take time to read or listen to the many thinkers, scientists and philosophers who have written about the great weight of evidence for this truth. I would suggest starting with John Lennox or Alastair McGrath as two excellent writers. Or you might want to try Antony Flew's book There Is A God, where he presents the evidence that brought him from being one of the 20th centuries most well known atheists philosophers to a belief in the existence of God.

It seems that God is having quiet the effect on you, especially for something that doesn't exist. For it to be going through your mind so much that it leads you to this point seems proof enough.
