Shame to hear you might stop making content, although i get it, its not for everyone and i think i heard every RUclips content creator i follow talk about it sucking in some way even if they really like doing it.
There's just no return after a lot of effort invested. I can't keep hoping a video will tickle the algorithm just right so that it'll maybe show a few thousand of my subs.

I will miss seeing you on Imgur as well. Honestly I wish we could be friends and I could just watch you solder stuff in Discord voice chats, haha.

I know you said you want to be done, but consider trying to make your videos better instead of stopping. The issue is not youtube, it is your video quality. I know you have been making videos for a long time, but it seems like there are only minor improvements in each video. You need to keep making the videos better, and they need to be made in a way that is entertaining to more people. What that looks like? Only you can find that out. Look around at channels like yours that are larger and take a few notes maybe.
Not just RUclips but all platforms, I am done putting effort into videos that go nowhere. I have 8k subs here and only 300 views on this video and a few others. Same can be said for TikTok where I have more followers.
