Funny as a reefer you can notice the most microscopic imperfections that others probably wouldn't notice. My issue is usually in attempting to fix them I make an even bigger problem 😱 glad you finally have some time to do an update, I'm finding as I mature more into this hobby that as time consuming multiple tanks can be, I like being able to create multiple setups, making one tank more of an LPS tank, another a mix reef. Ideally having just 1 would make things a lot easier, but this is coming from someone with multiple tank syndrome. Hopefully as time goes on I can go from 3 nanos, to possibly 2 so that my focus isn't always split.
I keep gaining more tanks then consolidating then more then consolidating.. a little big with each consolidation! Haha so true! Things will bug you that most likely wouldn’t notice. But I dispose that’s everyone with their own tank!
The end caps are fixed and one side of each end are fixed. so the 2 middle open on both sides.. on the stair side the one at peninsula end opens.. and overflow side the one by my kitchen opens.
Amazing setup dude!!!I’m battling high nitrates but low phosphates..I’m running diy algae reactor, santa monica algae scubber, skimmer ,a bunch of bio media and 10 percent water change every month and my nitrates still around 50ppm.any suggestions for bringing nitrates down
Algae scrubber will certianly help. Filter rollers also work well to remove food and waste before it has time to break down in the water. Not having one or a refuigum for the first 2 months was my major issue.

A lot of these fish, anemones and corals have different diets. How do you manage to feed everyone? Is there a type of a all in one mixed food for the fish? I have a 40 gallon cube with diff species of fish and anemones and eels.. it gets quite annoying individually feeding these guys .. any advice?
Phosphates as of a few days ago was 0.18 .. a month ago it was much higher! Nitrate was 16-20 range (much better.. was also pretty high a month ago) :)
Gorgeous tank, thinking of buying the same Waterbox, any negatives about it? Things youd recommend from the get go? Also did you worry about floor bracing? Lastly why not go with aragonite sand to add filtering?
