Take the Yellow Tangs out. they will eat and kill everything in the tank.. Blue Hippos' are ok.. Mine died finally because I put zoeys in the tank, about 60 on a rock.. You guessed it, the tang ate all of the zoeys on the rock, and died 3 days later. Poor fish, but oh well lesson learned...

This is simply a stunner of atank, perfect balance between fish and corals and not too busy. I can only ever dream of owning a tank like this....one day....

Amazing tank one of the best I've seen but notice even he has some sand discoloration nobody is perfect 😁 great job though I love how the tank is not cluttered and the white is stunning

Simply wonderful! Not a tank filled with pretentious little nubs of stamp collected frags. A variety of species, form and colour, great fish selection and a wonderful aquascape. We'll done!

Longest torch tentacles I’ve ever seen!
A little bit of a “collectoritis” tank with tons of tiny corals, but it will look better once some things grow larger and a few larger pieces dominate.
Many make the mistake and jam the tank with frags. I understand the excitement but most of the corals will not survive due to realstate issues
@@VeryBadReputation they'll start killing each other as they try to get more space to grow.

that is a great looking tank i love it. But it dose look like it is over stocked with coral . seem like when start to grow out you will have to pull alot out to make room. but right now it look so good

Everytime I see a tank like this, now all I think about is "is this a display, or habitat?" since I saw the question posed. Does this type of minimal setup affect the fishes comfort in terms of places to hide and be "natural"? It's beautiful, nonetheless.
ii guess we judge by the happines of the fish and they look fantastic

Not sure, at least a few grand I'd say.
@@DannysAquariums thanks, I was thinking around that, and the whole set up would be around 4-5k with coral and fish
The LED lighting is coming in at £1,500 alone.

@@soneyliston7902 you and me both, I’d packed it in for 15 years then recently dipped my toe back in with a couple of nanos. The introduction of LEDs did seem to be the major difference from where I’d left off, previously over heating, over expensive halides. You can pick up good LED’s for < £500. A tank like this guy is obviously the ultimate so I looked up the price of the LED’s he was using = £1,500.
I’m due to move house in two years time and envisage building a tank with a sea scape very similar to this guy’s tank but shallower, 18”, and built into a wall. My budget is £3K for the build. Whether i can keep to that is another matter. I’d recommend you go nano(s) if you want to get back into it on a budget

Where other people see a beautiful tank. I see a tank overcrowded with frags and tangs. 6 months is nothing, it will be interesting how this tank looks after 2-3 years. This could turn into a battlefield in more ways than one.
Yup, just like the ocean is one big battlefield.
@@DannysAquariums But the ocean is a big place, and this is just an Instagram Tank with minimalistic Aquascape, disregarding any requirements of the necessary habitat for the fish. All fun and games as long as those fish are Juvenile.

It’s all real coral.
the fact that the sump is quite simple is great if I see other video like this the sump is literally just full of wires filtration equipment and pipes. that kind of clutter is just so uncomfortable

I know you will not like this suggestion because the white letters are more aesthetic than the yellow ones. But I think that here yellow letters would have helped because it was very difficult for me to read 👓 Or put a black background to the white text that you write😅
