Billy Fury, Britain's king of rock n roll, very under rated singer/songwriter, should of been much bigger than Cliff, but due to **** management, he wasn't, but he will be in my heart.
Dave Sampson's story at the end about singing "Trouble" with a green light on him reminds me of a story i heard Duffy Power tell about Joe Brown's mum after seeing an act that fits that description exactly (so perhaps it WAS him). After he came off stage she said to him "Are you that green-faced b*stard who's looking for trouble?" I bet he laughed. R.I.P. Dave and Duffy, both great singers
billy fury one of our best vocalists
Shame the video didn't go on for longer, was well into that!
