- (26 Jul 2018) MCCARTNEY RETURNS TO ROOTS WITH GIG AT LIVERPOOL'S CAVERN CLUB
Sir Paul McCartney is going back to where it all began - The Cavern Club in Liverpool.
On Thursday afternoon (26 JULY 2018), the Beatle will perform an exclusive free gig at the famous club on Mathew Street, credited as the birthplace of the Fab Four.
It's been 19 years since McCartney last performed at the venue - December 1999.
The Cavern Club played host to The Beatles nearly 300 times in the early 1960s and became known as the center of Liverpool's rock and roll scene. The original club closed in 1973, later reopening after extensive redevelopment in 1984.
McCartney will take to the stage at 2pm local time Thursday (1300GMT). Free tickets for the event are available from Liverpool's Echo Arena box office and are limited to one per person.

Love that Paul and Ringo have such great positive attitudes! Still real with all their fame!
They don’t have to struggle with money that’s why
Horsesh*t. There's millions of rich A-holes out there.@@scouseronthewirral
Sir Paul is arguably among the top 3 most accomplished and most talented humans in our life-time.
Who's the other two??
CarrotTop and MC Hammer@@paulmarsh8974
God bless them both
I don't know about that as your boy has a funny way of blessing people..
It's a shame half the Beatles are gone, but it's good to see Paul and Ringo together
My sweet lord
It’s also a shame that the original Cavern Club is gone.
@@wildsmiley yeah they tore it down for a building that was never built!
Yeah, that always takes a bit of the feeling away. I visited the "club" in 2002 and was disappointed to learn it wasn't where they actually played.@@wildsmiley
Whoa, Ringo and Paul look very 'Beatley' here, just like the old days ✌️
Ringo gets younger
Big Paul and Ringo !! I love the youth aptitude in their souls is amazing and also the most important
The fab two
Gary Agg fab one* The real Paul has been dead since 1966.
Mingi Majewski damn it I forgot FAUL
Amazing how Billy is so much more talented than Paul was...
steve8869 Billy?
Gary Agg Billy Campbell shears or Shepard whatever they like to call him.
Paul McCartney is The Greatest songwriter of "ALL TIME" PERIOD!!!! The Beatles will live FOREVER.
May they live many more years!
It was nice to see Paul revisiting his youth in Liverpool. The concert at The Cavern Club was pretty awesome.
PAUL DIED IN 1966. One of the greatest hoaxes ever is still going on. That's BILLY SHEARS/William Campbell ! Do some investigating.

Legends💯
God, I wish John and George were there, damn it!
Too bad Paul's not there either.
what a bunch of retards
Everything you just said was completely insane.
I would of preferred you said it was all wrong , but i guess the truth will die with the remaining Beatles, Technically faul is a Beatle . and new info out that the original guy "Paul McArtney' used that name and it wasn't his real name, like Ringo! and he just left the band to get married and leave the fame and drugs and harassment.... You are right why should i give a shit, it is insane no more comments from me on this subject ... Maybe it was a time in the worlds history when everything was much more pleasant than it was today, and one of the last remembrances of those days were the beatles....and any excuse to keep those days alive is important. Peace out myfriend
@@TheBloodcleaner you're delusional
You make me so surprised and happy Sir Paul McCartney!! 💗 Beautiful music and Gentleman🎼🎤🎵
Sir Ringo too.. don’t forget
Saw them both in concert at the O2 in London last year! It was epic 💜🎶best day of my life.
This is great news I love the Beatles for more than 35 years and I am very happy to follow what remains of it. Two great ones that still make us dream for their extraordinary power to unite miles of people together in a beautiful island called music .Beatles forever.✌😊✌
None of the Beatles went bald.
Maybe that's why this 68 year old American man has been a life long fan. I still have a full head of hair!
Happy Hair Day
Speaking for all of the 55 year olds without a full head of hair, I'm also a fan. Maybe the hairs that fell out were not fans. I don't know.
Well, two of them died relatively young...
wow i just noticed
God almighty....beyond words. More a Ringo fan than in 1964, when I was 16. Thank you for the years, the music, the love...the hard work.
Sir Paul, you're a fantastic people and I'm very exciting of see that you're return in the cavern rock :)
So good to see Paul back at The Cavern.(new cavern)
He looks great

Hard to believe Ringo turns 80 in 2020 and he still looks twenty years younger
Genius reunited brilliant i love paul and ringo !
Bucket list ! Mission accomplished but I’ll be back mid October 2024 all the way from Austin Texas
Jesus. Ringo and Macca goofing around; I could watch the two of them order food at Applebee's and be entertained. LOVE them together. And with John and George gone, seems the bond is stronger than ever. The last two soldiers who've been through a ton.
Sir McCartney and Sir Starkey
wow, only on RUclips I see this awesome video...tx
Met Paul McCartney by chance a few years ago. What a gentleman! And still a bonny lad! 🤗 🤗 🤗
Happy with you, Paul...and Ringo.
Paul, John, George and Ringo,...start 60 years ago, rest is History. Noone will be bigger, The Beatles, only one of a kind, for ever. Go on Paul and Ringo, we want more...
Sir Paul McCartney & Ringo Starr Are In My Opinion Still One Of The Longest & Renowned Musicians To Date.
( one of my son's worked at the Cavern Club on Matthew Street.)
I loved Going Up There For The Live Band's & The Atmosphere. Great Night Out In Liverpool. 👍🏼
You have every right to be proud of how good you guys were!
I wish I was there ⭐️🌟⭐️🌟
Wonderful!!!!
Excellent. Thank Beatles.
Con estas partes que se han presentado demuestran que la Beatlemania esta y sigue aun en el recuerdo.
Paul and Ringo have not changed its like watching an interview ftom the 60s.
these two guys are the original rock stars all the rest are walking in their footsteps
Ringo must the coolest dad/granpa/uncle someone could ever have

Its funny how i got to know "Wings" before d Beatles when i came to America in 1975. Now im 53 n planning to visit England n 2019, im making it a priotity to catch one of his shows before anything else.
Good bless you . I always love the Beattles. Greats gentlemans. Love you . xxx
Long love mecca xx
That's what muslims say
¡Ha! There they are, the silliness that made the Beatles original, loveable and unique. That sense of humor man. Just wish John would be there stomping his feet with a funny face, and the rest of the guys laughing at it. ¿Where are we gonna go boys? -to the top of the tops Johnny-
How does Ringo stay looking so young? Maybe it's his sense of humour. The best of the bunch. He never took himself too seriously, just enough to be a Beatle. LOL
Its good to see ringo
“And we’re plugging it. Plug plug”.
Paul your a awesome Knight, you and Ringo!!
With that oversized suit he looked like the young Macca in his Liverpool days wearing a suit to large for his skinny body.
Grandes leyendas
Sirs Paul and Ringo- such wonderful people- young stars please take a lesson from these Liverpool lads.
Family men! Love it and the fact it’s true!
Father in Love💓😲
Reading these comments...holy moly..people are strange & the world has changed...Anyway everyone has an opinion. As for me.. Never be another Beatles. John, Paul, George & Ringo. They made some great songs. Amazing group. Amazing story. Very good movie. Peace & love.
Read more personnel Beatle story's in Brian Linford's book 'Mardi Gras Club Liverpool' Brian lived in the next street to Ringo when the area was heavily bombed in October 1940, Brian was 4 and lived in 23 Kinmel St., Ringo was 4 months old and lived at 9 Madryn St. Both very lucky to survive. Read this story in Brian's book
- How are you?
When you sit beside Mccartney, "everything seems to be right"
1:50 flipping hell the Scouse came out strong here. How have these maintained their accents for 60+ years of living away from Liverpool wow
Queen Elizabeth is the queen of the queens and she will forever be remembered. Your precious Lady Gaga is a fIop who hasnt had a single hit in a decade
His Wife is a Being of Beauty ..
Radically Rescued I don't see any beauty there!
castletriglav She came from big money.....that is rude!
I thought she was a wealthy heiress? Hardly a 'gold-digger'!
Nancy is indeed beautiful and seems like a lovely person. It's so good to see Paul happy again.
Its not The Cavern. The old Cavern is in the foundations of the building opposite.
John See
not opposite. Same side but a few doors down
Oh let it be will yer!.....
i like people like Mcartney n esp Lennon, and Ronnie Woods ect. They are all great musicians but, they have carisma. They havent ever lost their roots. Ronnies a traveller anyway lol but what a fkn artist. Yes painting.
Good on the strolling bones for letting us know ya can do whatever at whatever age. They are remarkable and their music is more remarkable. They inspire me.
What's up with the black screen? If I don't pay for premium I don't get to watch?
Good luck with that!
Here we are again ! Billy telling never ending stories again.
I live in constant fear to lose anyone of them
まだ、この2人が生きてる事がもう感動です⁉️
泣きそうです!😂
The Cavern was demolished in the mid 1970's to make way for a Tesco or sommat. Good old Liverpool, loves its history.
alterdestiny : And do you know exactly how many times John, Paul, George and Ringo returned to visit Liverpool since 1963? No. No you don't. I didnt think you did.
Not many as a group, but I was there in 1964 when they came back after a US tour and went to the town hall to meet the Mayor. But Sir Paul has a house on the Wirral - and I know which one - so he's been back numerous times - so don't get snotty with me chum.
Wrong....................
It was actually demolished to make way for the New Moorfields railway station Ventilation shaft , but was never built!!
EVERY PROPER Liverpudlian KNOWS THAT ANDY ;)............................................
What don't you understand about or Sommat?
It was a compulsory purchasing order by British rail, nothing to do with Liverpool authorities. Fortunately the cavern was excavated and reconstructed on the same spot with the same bricks in the 80's. it's not exactly the same but occupies 70% of the original space. There is a myth that the original cavern was across the road, that's not true.
Time machine Paul, imagine you are in 1961.
1:51 both Paul and ringo turned hardcore scouse for a second there
Por que ringo no se deja el cabello largo como antes ?
Seria genial
none of those clips are related to his July gig at the Cavern
Nancy is a beautiful graceful lady well done Paul.
I thought I read somewhere that they demolished the cavern club and there is now a parking lot in it's place?
true but they built the new one across the street.
They demolished the building above and filled in the Cavern Club below ground. When they realized what a mistake it was, they excavated part of it, and found that it was too badly damaged. So they rebuilt it on mostly the same footprint, but with a larger second stage, and everything turned around, so the main entrance is now across the street and the site of the original entrance is now the emergency exit.
Great work. A little less lively than say, the Help film, but then who wouldn’t be.
Charity work extraordiners.
Murder and Cancer have split up the band....but they will live forever in their music.
Love how Ringo turns on the "scouse" around 1m50s.
What talent has ringo got answers on a postcard please

Promoting his "Run Devil Run" album? Isn't that "Egypt Station"?
hoping they will make an album with Dhani and Julian
Pete Best played with the Beatles that times.
And Beatlemania returns too!
Nancy is so cute!!! They must be happy together
360p in 2018?
Wow, Ron Howard finally ditched the hat,COOL!!
IT'S SO SAD THAT JOHN AND GEORGE DIED SO EARLY, LIFE IS A MYSTERY ALL WE CAN DO IS DO ARE BEST.
Seeing this video of Paul in the Cavern Club reminds me of that old black and white footage of the early Beatles playing there. John is sweating profusely, looking nervous and there's a blond girl in the audience shaking her head like "man, these guys suck." I wonder if she ever changed her mind.
That's pretty funny. Do you know the footage I'm referring to? It's in the 1982 Beatles documentary titled "The Compleat Beatles"
Beatles is beatles , de cand eram copil , cand ascultam Beatles la europa libera ...o parere doar ....UK is UK . For ever , tschuß
