    The absolute beauty of this is when Neil does the 1-2-3-4 count into the outro.
    Pat and Neil are absolutely the King and Queen in this gig. Always were.
    And these lyrics.... spot on.
    One of the bands best ever.

      Every word..... Gospel. This woman..... .. My Father loved that if there was a female artist his Daughter was to admire.. follow... absolute WORSHIP. .... IT WAS - HER.
      I was reminded there's no one to worship other than God..... only..... but he could totally be Blessed in his little girl being influenced by such a talent. He rejoiced in her talent.. he rejoiced in his daughter knowing it. ❤ Amen.
      Period.

      I love Pat and Neils music!!! I'm very excited they are in the RRHF now!
      So, I am a very young 68 yr old father of seven and now have 5 grandchildren, all with one stunning and beautiful wife. We are closer than ever. Wow, we like each too!. My adoring wife and I have been very happily married for 40 years now. How is that, we chose too!!!
      I just surprised her with a beautiful exotic machine. It's Italian just like her. Why did I, while for no other reason than I like her. We also make sure we bless our adult children in many ways, too!. I am very grateful to be able to do these things.
      Pat & Neil keep Rocking as we are, too!

      This is a great song with a great lead singer, who had kept her eye on the ball. I loved this song back in the day. I hadn’t realized until years later what the subject matter was. when I say that Pat had her eye on the ball, it had to do with sexual injustice. Every time I hear this song, I cry for the kids.

      @sykojay 4 года назад +19

      Robert Whitcomb we know his name and to answer your other question: He's underrated because if you talked to most people during the 80s about guitarists, the name Neil Giraldo probably wouldn't have been brought up. Names like Eddie, Randy, Satriani, Slash, Yngwie, George Lynch, Steve Vai, and many others would have been said way before him. And except for a few standouts, his name should be right up there because he's just as good, but really didn't get the same credit as those guys.

When she first came out with pop style songs and showing a lot of herself I was like 'whatever' but she'd evolved and goddamn that woman has one hell of a voice and doesn't need a bunch of BS effects or dubbing or anything else. Everything from a Ballad to singing with Metallica she can carry all of it.

    Here's a little story that you've probably never heard anything about: sometime in the 1970s, before Pat became a rocker and got a label deal, she was living in Richmond, Va. (my hometown) with her military-member 1st husband. At that time she was singing sedate cocktail-lounge music with a small jazz combo. So, one day, she and her band did a performance on the local public t.v. station, and I saw it. I remembered it later because it wasn't long after that she re-emerged as a leotard-wearing, chopped-hair hard rocker, which was a shocking, 180° change from the frilly-blouse-demure-skirt-wearing, soft-jazz-singing woman I had seen on t.v. not that long before. I swear that's a true story, and that I still remember it all these years later. I'm probably one of the few people who remembers the pre-rocker Pat Benatar crooner.
