Nice to hear Ed having a chance to get a word in for a change.
What a podcast! amazing! Imagine Sam, Ed, Tony and Chris Harris on one podcast!!!!
Good stuff.. I do feel like it could easily be double the length and we wouldn't be worse off..
Excellent interview. Ed seems a great down to earth guy. I think I spoke to him on the phone when I was thinking of selling my white 997 Gt3.
Cool for having a Singer .
the guest was very down to earth, loved this episode
Fantastic podcast! 45min that felt like 5 min! Such a cool and interesting guy Edward is! Great job!
Great podcast! Imagine Sam, Tony, Chris and Ed, and Matt and Zach from TST on a podcast together, That would be insane!!!
Chris wouldn’t do it!
That's far too many people for a podcast lol
Great content, the best part is i never noticed that you give props and recommendations to other RUclipsrs!! Good for you.
Loving these podcasts! Been listening from the start and the past few months just gotten better and better!
Great Podcast. As much as I like the regular double act versions with you and Tony, it is nice to see different and interesting guest podcasts too.
My favorite podcast by far, much love from Norway ❤️
Great video Sam, loved it. I’ve been following Collecting Cars since last year and this was a fascinating insight into Ed & the business. 👍👍
Interesting seeing Edward again in this podcast as he sold me my first two Boxsters several years ago
Sam it was nice to hear your first car as a MK4 Golf 1.4, mine was the same, the 1.4 E trim with windy windows and no AC, but I loved it.
Good interview and now another auction site I have to monitor.
We sold Dick Lovett a 325 in 1981 car was beautiful 25,000 miler. He would always be good buyer of low mileage stuff.
Enjoyed the pod. We’ll take a look at putting our MK2 RS Mexico on the CC platform.
Only 15 seconds in but I know this will be a brilliant video !!!!
That was an excellent podcast! Loved it! 👍🏻😎
A great 45mins gents!....my old boss - top chap! *waves*
Good Watch ..! Love the platform
The concept of collecting cars sounds good. Many private buyers might need to touch/feel/see the car before making such a large financial outlay, but dealers have no such reservations and will jump all over anything they think has value. I am sure the platform will be very successful as it becomes more well known.
Mate the megane r26r for sale right now on collecting cars has your name written all over it 😍
These need to be wayyyy longer Sam
Hi Sam, great video. Apparently the amg gt black series is going to be 275000 list, this is from the most recent top gear magazine.
do the collecting cars sell also LHD cars??
Very good video 👍👍👍👍
Love this content 👌🔥
Thanks Sam 👍
Some very cool cars on the site
Nissan Sunny 1.4 First Car Crew! 🤩😁
You mention Latvia time to times. Looks like you wanna come back here some time
Sam Great video with out Tony. Check out sight around the 25min mark and check out usa sight bring a trailer
Sam said in the podcast that collecting cars has some interesting stock, has anyone else viewed whats coming soon on the site. The Ssanyong Musso , interesting is definitely the word. I'm still trying to get my head around it.
Who's putting in a bid?
Used Collecting Cars, didn't sell at Auction, however someone interested approached Oliver and he put us in touch with each other and we did a deal. So fully support Collecting Cars snd can't keep of the site! Great experience and so easy to list, give it a go you won't be disappointed.
You will be , very poor conditions , best avoided at all costs
Hello one and all!!!
Sam this has been a fantastic podcast 🙂
Please try and get all 5 of you together in a podcast, that would be AMAZING 🙂👍🏻
Stay Safe
All the best,
Mark 👍🏻
Great chat with Ed. Top man there.
Sam is the son of Bob Mortimer's 'Train Guy'
Nissan Sunny 1.4 yes yes!
Sam definitely does voice overs as an additional job😂
Great chat. Outrageous amount of flirting from you though Sam! Ha.
I heard an interesting comment on Tim alias Shmee being involved in the launch of the new Black series, I am pleased I haven't seen it then and now I won't, you could not listen to a more dull individual, and no car person that's for sure...
Round two anyone? :)
911R great car of collectors like this cat but Chris Harris gets it ; ) GT3 Touring with exhaust mod and lithium battery -35lbs ... don’t drink the Kool aid Sam lol
Terrible experience trying to sell a 612 manual through collecting cars. I lifted my reserve price but the live auctioneer didnt reply bother do it in time and then couldn't firm up the bid! They also hound you relentlessly to justify and lower your reserve. They even call themselves historians! Proper clowns!
I completely agree , they are unethical and best avoided
Dick, Love it - thats a hell of a statement
From some social media comments and judging by their experiences Mr Lovett Junior appears to be a person whose sharp business practice will leave you out of pocket. As stated here best avoided
Where is Tony? TONY??? Whhheerrree is Tonnnyyyy????
You would be well advised to avoid Lovett and Collecting Cars. Very poor terms and conditions for the buyer, and shady offline negotiations with sellers. Arthur Daley springs to mind.
You have been warned , don’t go there !
Sorry Sam your work is great but this is a complete advertising stunt for Ed and I'm not a fan as his auctions site is not transparent!
First!!
