You didn't mention you've been having a problem with your car's ignition coil. 'when it gets pretty loose you can screw it with your finger and that's pretty easy'. That's what she said.

It’s not really the main issue. It’s just something I could replace easily. 170,000 miles I will be replacing most parts I can get to and replace easily. Next tomorrow will be the throttle position sensor. Very simple fix

Yah,like you said- sounds like it might be the TPS.

@@PahrumpWhat's TPS? I just paid $244.69 to get this part replaced on my 2005 Taurus and it's still doing the same thing it was doing before they fixed it. Said he put it on a machine and said the same thing AutoZone told me. So he said that the coil looked like it was burnt so he wanted to start with that and not so the spark plugs and wires yet. Auto also said that the BANK 2 SYSTEM IS 2 LEAN (NOT ENOUGH FUEL) FOR A PREDETERMINED PERIOD OF TIME AND SUGGEST Changing A PCV VALVE.

@@aquaearthnfirequ_pinsnsavi1721 TPS I believe it is the throttle position sensor. It’s located on the throttle body and controls the engine idle rpm’s.
