You didn't mention you've been having a problem with your car's ignition coil. 'when it gets pretty loose you can screw it with your finger and that's pretty easy'. That's what she said.

Choke is stuck.

Those carbs are trash anyway plastic.

Check that the anti-backfire solenoid is working. If it is not, no fuel will get to the carburetor.

Sounds like its stuck on choke or running rich try adjusting the mixture screw, or it could possibly need a new carb or a carb rebuild

Update: I have moved from this location. Pad Split is a good way to find a room to live in, but I managed to find a different arrangement.
