Ive loved a man for over 20 years. I messed up when we were teens and chose partying over him. When we reconnected years later he was marries with kids. We remained friends even so. His wife is extremly abusive. He would not leave her but turnes to drinking to cope. Last year I cut contact because he would not seek help and was starting to throw up blood and had very yellow eyes. Hes nothing but a shell of what he was everyday I wake up wondering when the news that he has died will come to my ears. I cant love again no matter how much I try.

This happened to me. My HS sweetheart died in a car crash a week after he turned 21. We went to a playground, laid next to each other- literally repeat of this video. I’m 36 now, and I still mourn him.

My mother was 8 months pregnant when my father passed away. He passed away on 24th June and I was born on 24th July. I can't imagine the pain my mother must have gone through but she still always smiled at me. God knows how much pain she was hiding behind that smile. Why is life so hard.

This reminds me of a girl who passed away in a car accident in 06. I was scared to talk to her when I got into high school. I told myself, I would say hi to her after the weekend was over. She went to a party and the car she was in ended up crashing and she was killed on impact. I never got to tell her how much I respected her, how much I liked her and how beautiful I thought she was.

I was so much like her when I lost my cousin to an accidental overdose last year. When it first happened, I was just stunned. Then when a few days passed, I became so angry and would scream my head off. I finally broke down in my boyfriend's arms at his place and then seeing her laid out at her wake. The last thing my cousin and I spoke about was seeing each other once the stay at home order dropped. The day of her wake was when it got dropped and then I just broke down, telling her I was sorry I didn't see her sooner. I almost collapsed. A couple of weeks later, I just couldn't stop crying all night for her and my mom had to calm me down. My cousin's death was the worst thing to ever happen to my family. She was only 36 and she was my first best friend, my hero, my role model. March 30th is going to be very hard for me because that's her birthday and June 3rd was her last day on earth. I know I didn't know her but I think she'd want you to try to remember all the good times you guys had together and those memories that you have are apart of you so she's still with you in your memories and your heart. Me and her never gotten alone once we were teens, always ignored each other. A week after seeing her she died in an accident and it broke my heart so much. The last time seeing her was the final time we got along and I wish that we could of talked like we use to as family. To this day it hurts.

My uncle died from suicidal 7 years ago 2013 September 25th on his birthday day and shot himself and yes he did some drugs but advice don’t do drugs because they make you think wrong and my aunt died from cancer throat don’t do it please I don’t want anyone family members dying from drugs like my uncle did it’s sad because his daughter never got to meet him
This song came out when I was 22. I lost my best friend. His mom went into labor at my first birthday party. We were one year and 1 day apart. The bigging of the video reminds me of the moment I walked into the ICU and knew he would never wake up. I remember walking out of the ICU and falling on the ground crying hysterically. This song and video, even after all these years take me back to the moment I got the call about his accident and when I walked into the ICU to see him. The days and years that followed after having to handle life with out him. This video will always make me cry. On the day of his death and his birthday this song always comes on. Almost ten years ago my oldest daughter's boyfriend was riding his motorcycle to go see her across town and told my daughter he had something important to ask her. A young driver at a tricky intersection pulled out in front of him and he flipped over the guy's car, landed on his head, broke his neck, and died. They found the engagement ring in his leather jacket pocket he was going to propose to my daughter. She still has one of the cross necklaces he normally always wore, cries on his birthday, and is engaged to another man and have two children together. Loss is hard to deal with.

For days, weeks, and months, and years I always looked to the side on my way to school in hopes he would pull up next to me and offer me a ride like he did the first time we met. I sometimes even smelled his cologne in the air. And even heard his car. But as I looked it was just another memory of the boy I loved. I saw her for the 1st time in 25 years almost 4 years ago. We hugged and cried. Her husband and my wife were confused. We both told our spouses we were old friends that had not seen each other in a long time. We still love each other, that much I know. Just wasn’t to be.

Ive loved a man for over 20 years. I messed up when we were teens and chose partying over him. When we reconnected years later he was marries with kids. We remained friends even so. His wife is extremly abusive. He would not leave her but turnes to drinking to cope. Last year I cut contact because he would not seek help and was starting to throw up blood and had very yellow eyes. Hes nothing but a shell of what he was everyday I wake up wondering when the news that he has died will come to my ears. I cant love again no matter how much I try.

This reminds me of a girl who passed away in a car accident in 06. I was scared to talk to her when I got into high school. I told myself, I would say hi to her after the weekend was over. She went to a party and the car she was in ended up crashing and she was killed on impact. I never got to tell her how much I respected her, how much I liked her and how beautiful I thought she was.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's very hard to lose someone you love. Lost my husband of 14 yrs of pancreatic cancer in Feb of 2018. I feel it never gets easier you just learn to bare w/ the pain, absence, the what I would of could of. I still haven't come to deal with the loss completely. I was so much like her when I lost my cousin to an accidental overdose last year. When it first happened, I was just stunned. Then when a few days passed, I became so angry and would scream my head off. I finally broke down in my boyfriend's arms at his place and then seeing her laid out at her wake. The last thing my cousin and I spoke about was seeing each other once the stay at home order dropped. The day of her wake was when it got dropped and then I just broke down, telling her I was sorry I didn't see her sooner. I almost collapsed. A couple of weeks later, I just couldn't stop crying all night for her and my mom had to calm me down. My cousin's death was the worst thing to ever happen to my family. She was only 36 and she was my first best friend, my hero, my role model. March 30th is going to be very hard for me because that's her birthday and June 3rd was her last day on earth. I miss and love you so much, Erin McMahon. Until we meet again... 💔💔😢😢

The bigging of the video reminds me of the moment I walked into the ICU and knew he would never wake up. I remember walking out of the ICU and falling on the ground crying hysterically. This song and video, even after all these years take me back to the moment I got the call about his accident and when I walked into the ICU to see him. The days and years that followed after having to handle life with out him. This video will always make me cry. On the day of his death and his birthday this song always comes on. A young driver at a tricky intersection pulled out in front of him and he flipped over the guy's car, landed on his head, broke his neck, and died. They found the engagement ring in his leather jacket pocket he was going to propose to my daughter. She still has one of the cross necklaces he normally always wore, cries on his birthday, and is engaged to another man and have two children together. Loss is hard to deal with.

I am sorry for your loss. I can relate to you as I also lost my little brother a year and a half ago to suicide and even though it's a love song it still resonates with me and how I feel as if he left me here alone. I hope you find the answers you're looking for.
I remember my parents pulling me away and holding me back while I watched him walk away and get into his car and drive away for the last time. They didn’t understand the love was real. For days, weeks, and months, and years I always looked to the side on my way to school in hopes he would pull up next to me and offer me a ride like he did the first time we met. I sometimes even smelled his cologne in the air. And even heard his car. But as I looked it was just another memory of the boy I loved. Years have gone by and I heard he passed away in a car accident, some say suicide. But I still get a sniff of his cologne. Still listen to our favorite song and sometimes hear his voice. And it’s been over 20 years. Love is the force that makes life worth living. ❤️💔
