    Does taking antibiotics after coming off the birth control pill help accelerate and bring in my cycles sooner? Thank you

    • @premomfertility
      @premomfertility  Год назад +1

      Antibiotics are primarily used to treat bacterial infections and are not typically prescribed to regulate or accelerate menstrual cycles. Birth control pills, on the other hand, are often prescribed to help regulate the menstrual cycle.If you've recently stopped taking birth control pills and are looking to regulate your menstrual cycle or encourage the return of regular periods, it's best to discuss your concerns with a healthcare provider. They can provide guidance and may recommend certain treatments or strategies based on your individual situation. It's important to note that the time it takes for your menstrual cycle to return to its normal pattern after stopping birth control pills can vary from person to person, and it may take a few months for your body to adjust. Wish you all the best!

      Cycles can be a bit irregular after stopping BC. Tracking your cycles with LH tests and confirming ovulation with BBT can help you to get a better idea of when ovulation is occurring and when you can expect your next period.

    Hey❤
    I am 24 years old
    I have been on the triphasil birth control pills for about 5years, I loved how it was giving clear skin and no side effects.
    I am planning to stop them completely, and I just wanted to find out how long would it take (on average) to conceive nor have my body back to normal for pregnancy?

    • @premomfertility
      @premomfertility  Год назад +2

      You may be able to get pregnant within 1-3 months. However, the timing can vary between individuals,
      some women may take more months for their bodies to adjust and for regular ovulation to occur.
      If you're planning to conceive, it's a good idea to start tracking your menstrual cycle and ovulation using methods like basal body temperature charting or ovulation predictor kits. This can help you identify when you're most fertile and increase your chances of getting pregnant.
      It's also important to maintain a healthy lifestyle, including a balanced diet, regular exercise, and avoiding tobacco, alcohol, and other drugs, as these factors can also impact fertility. If you have concerns about your fertility or have been trying to conceive for an extended period without success, it's a good idea to talk to your healthcare provider.

    Can I ask if this is the case for progesterone only pill. Does a normal cycle mean it is 'out of your system' or can it still be effecting things like the uterine lining?

    • @premomfertility
      @premomfertility  5 месяцев назад

      Hello, when you stop taking progesterone-only pills, a "normal cycle" usually means your hormones go back to normal. But changes in your uterus might still happen for a bit. It's best to talk to a doctor for advice. Good luck to you!

      Hey there! Missing pills and stopping them early can lead to irregular cycles and hormonal fluctuations. It's possible to conceive sooner, but it often varies from person to person. For some, it might take a few months for their cycles to regulate after stopping birth control. It's always a good idea to consult with a healthcare provider for personalized advice based on your health history. Best of luck! 🍀🌸

    The faint line that comes on the ovulation test suggests you haven't ovulate yet how can you tell if you've missed ovulation?

    • @premomfertility
      @premomfertility  6 месяцев назад

      A faint line on an ovulation test can indicate a lower level of luteinizing hormone (LH), which is normal earlier in your cycle. As you approach ovulation, LH levels typically surge, leading to a darker test line.
      If you're consistently seeing only faint lines and no surge, it could suggest that you haven't ovulated yet. However, it's important to note that some women have a shorter LH surge that may not be detected by a single test.
      To get a clearer picture, consider using additional methods like tracking your basal body temperature (BBT) or observing changes in cervical mucus. A sustained increase in BBT or changes in cervical mucus consistency can confirm that ovulation has occurred. If you're still unsure, consulting with your healthcare provider for further guidance may be helpful.

      @@premomfertility so I've done an ovulation test today and it's darker than it was yesterday but today I threw up and had watery discharge to the point of gushing simlular to when I got out the bath but I hadn't had a bath yet.
      I had all the typical ovulation symptoms the last week or so and came off the mini pill 3 weeks ago Friday I do feel like I ovulated during the last 2 an half weeks because of the symptoms only recently started testing for lh levels and from what I understand you can ovulate as early as 48 hours on the mini pill I had a spotting type bleed the day after stopping the pill but then went into the ovulation symptoms.
      I've been keeping an eye on my temperature and its been consistently slightly raised I can usually feel it in myself im very sensitive to my body. So I'm curious could it be pregnancy I've got a test but I know its too early only being almost 3 weeks since I stopped my pill.
      I stopped my pill for 5 weeks last year and had a break through bleed and then a period and then missed the pill for 10 days as the doctor didn't give me my prescription on time. So I started having periods for a bit whilst taking the pill till January but then they stopped. I'm driving myself crazy because I've never really been this obsessed about pregnancy. But this time all the symptoms were so intense I've never had sore nipples that went darker an more pronounced and normal just my breasts hurt before, after not taking the pill. Can anybody jump in an give me some advice or just ideas of there situations please
      I have begun charting things now to keep an eye on it. Thanks in advance. ❤️❤️

    • @premomfertility
      @premomfertility  9 месяцев назад

      Seeing your period in January after missing it in December indicates that your cycle may be resuming. If you're trying to conceive, tracking your cycle and ovulation signs can be helpful. However, if your periods continue to be irregular or you have concerns about fertility, it's a good idea to consult with a healthcare provider for personalized advice and guidance.

    I stopped my BC pills on July 26, my period returned on august 21 and I’ve been having regular cycles since. Why have I not gotten pregnant yet? Does having a normal cycle automatically mean I’m ovulating again since stopping BC or no?

    • @premomfertility
      @premomfertility  Год назад

      It's great that your cycles have returned to normal since stopping birth control pills! However, having regular cycles doesn't guarantee immediate pregnancy. If you've been trying for several months without success, it might be a good idea to consult a healthcare provider to discuss your fertility and get personalized advice. Regular cycles are a positive sign, but it doesn't necessarily mean you are ovulating every cycle, so tracking ovulation can be helpful too.

    After using microgynon pills can get pregnant next month??

    • @premomfertility
      @premomfertility  9 месяцев назад

      The return to fertility after stopping birth control pills can vary, and it's possible to get pregnant in the month following discontinuation. However, it may take a few months for some individuals for their menstrual cycles to regulate and fertility to return to normal. Tracking your cycles and monitoring ovulation can help when trying to conceive. If concerns persist, consult a healthcare provider for guidance on fertility and reproductive health. Wish you good luck!

    Hey! I got my Nexplanon taken out December 7 2023.
    It’s March 29th. I know it’s still so early into trying to conceive , but I’m really hoping I can soon. I’ve been on Nexplanon implant since I was 14 and I do smoke cigarettes. Well I got it out December 7 and my husband and I try at least 5 times a day every day or every other day. I’ve seen women so many fall pregnant right after their Nexplanon is out. I know every womens body is different , but is there anything I can do to speed this process ? I got a negative pregnancy test three weeks ago but got my period or light bleeding for three days and then pale pink discharge for a day after. I had terrible cramps at first and it my “period “ was heavy for the first 3 hours then it was nothing. Just mild cramps.

    l had my IUD removed 4 days after having unprotected sex, after checking my calendar I was in my fertile window and the IUD was removed on my ovulation day... What are the chances that I would conceive from this?

    • @premomfertility
      @premomfertility  Год назад

      If you had your IUD removed on your ovulation day and had unprotected sex during your fertile window, there is a higher chance of conception but not guarantee. However, the exact likelihood of pregnancy depends on various factors, including individual fertility, timing, and other health considerations. If you're think about the possibility of pregnancy, you can take a pregnancy test after a few weeks to determine if conception has occurred.

    • @premomfertility
      @premomfertility  6 месяцев назад +1

      While it's possible to conceive shortly after stopping the pill, the likelihood can vary from person to person. Some individuals ovulate soon after discontinuing the pill, while others may experience a delay before their menstrual cycle returns to its usual pattern. Since you've recently stopped taking the pill and have had intercourse, there is a possibility of conception. I suggest you use HCG test strips to test for pregnancy after the 12th to 14th day of sexual intercourse.

    Can contraceptive pills cause false pregnancy test?

    • @premomfertility
      @premomfertility  9 месяцев назад

      Contraceptive pills generally do not cause false-positive results on a pregnancy test. Pregnancy tests work by detecting the presence of the hormone human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) in the urine or blood. This hormone is produced by the placenta after a fertilized egg attaches to the uterus.
      Contraceptive pills work by preventing ovulation, thickening cervical mucus to hinder sperm movement, or thinning the uterine lining. They do not contain hCG or interfere with its detection in pregnancy tests. Therefore, the result of a pregnancy test is typically accurate regardless of contraceptive pill usage.
      However, there can be instances where certain medications or medical conditions might affect the accuracy of a pregnancy test. For instance, some fertility medications containing hCG or certain treatments for infertility can interfere with pregnancy test results.
      If there's a concern about the accuracy of a pregnancy test while taking contraceptive pills, it's a good idea to follow the test instructions carefully and consider consulting a healthcare professional for advice or to confirm the test results. Best regards, Leyla Premom Support Team

From the 10th of January I did not take pills. Jan 15 and 16 I felt nausea and headache. I got my period again this January 18. Does this guarantee that I will get pregnant? Cause I am hoping too. • @premomfertility
      @premomfertility  9 месяцев назад +1

      Hi there! Stopping birth control pills can lead to changes in your menstrual cycle, and it might take some time for your body to adjust. The symptoms you're experiencing could be related to these changes. While it's possible to get pregnant soon after stopping the pill, it's not guaranteed, especially if your cycle hasn't normalized yet. The bleeding you experienced on January 18 is more likely your period rather than implantation bleeding. However, if you're trying to conceive, it's a good idea to track your cycle and consult with a healthcare provider for personalized advice. Best wishes on your journey! 😊🍀

      @@megandxoxo3141 omg thank you responding to me. I’m like going throu a lot now. So I have PCOS also and I took the pills first time and my period came on April 4th but period to that I was on m2tone and still on it. After April 4th I decided not to take the pill again and to focus more on the natural pill which is M2tone but it hasn’t come since April 4th. My doctor advised to go on it so I just start again.
      How long did you stay on it to make it regular?
      I appreciate your feedback.

      While taking norethindrone 5mg significantly reduces the likelihood of pregnancy, no contraceptive method is 100% effective. It's important to use the medication exactly as prescribed and consult with a healthcare provider for personalized advice.

    I am 28 yr old.. I was on a combination bc pill for 4 months then stopped.. my doctor told me to restart while on metformin (pcos) says metformin is class c drug and not good for ttc... this is so confusing to me but, I stopped metformin a week ago and just staying on myo inositol with 40:1 dchiro.
    I've been on this supplement about a month(+prenatal +omega 3 dha epa & b12) .. I started a new pack of same bc about 2 weeks later than normal but getting unbearable emotional side effects + migraines (I only ever had bc relayed migraines when I was a teen) it's been 4 days on this new pack.. I want to stop I don't think I'll take it today (day 5) but how could this mess effect my new ttc journey? Any info is greatly appreciated 🙏🙌💫🌈

    What about the birth control patch?

    • @premomfertility
      @premomfertility  Год назад

      The birth control patch prevents ovulation and thickens cervical mucus to prevent sperm from reaching the egg, and it contains the same hormones as many combination birth control pills. It's important to talk to a healthcare provider for more information and guidance on use.

    My cycle is regular didn't change get it the same day as when I got my "period" during the placebo week. I do notice that I don't have ewcm and I'm going on the 4 month off of the pill.
    Edit: I was on the pill for 4 years. I was taking 0.20 and was ovulating so my nurse practioner upped it to 0.25.
    Edit #2 I also had high prolactin levels about 4 years ago. 😊

      Hi Nancy, we always recommend consistently tracking your cycles and be using ovulation tests. You will be able to better time intercourse when you know what your luteinizing hormone levels are doing. Just got off bc pills almost 2 months ago now. Have gotten no period yet. I have had 3.5 days of high fertility result but then no peak result according to my ovulation test. Is this all normal what should I be expecting to happen from here/what should I do going forward to try to conceive? Thank you!

    • @premomfertility
      @premomfertility  Год назад +1

      After stopping birth control pills, irregular periods are common as your body adjusts. The high fertility results on ovulation tests indicate preparation for ovulation, but patience is key. Keep testing, track other signs like cervical mucus, and maintain a healthy lifestyle. If concerns persist, consult a healthcare provider for personalized advice. Wish you the best of luck! @premomfertility Thank you! So it sounds all normal for now, just patience as you said. I'm trying to conceive by December. From the sounds of it does that sound like it will be doable for me, or only if I get a period back? Thank you!

    • @premomfertility
      @premomfertility  9 месяцев назад
