I think it's just amazing how the Beatles grew as a group. They started out as four guys who just got caught up in fame, and where suddenly going professional, and they had such amazing success, then they became these groovy mod guys, they they where psychedelic hippy activists with an edge to them. I love the Beatles, they have the best legacy of any rockband.
I live and breathe beatles. My whole life is beatles. Nothing will ever come close to the Beatles. Everything they have done is amazing. I could write this talking about how they are the best forever. Every album every song every single every compilation album is amazing. My favorite Beatle is Paul and my favorite album is abbey road and second favorite is sgt pepper.
Well there is Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Debussy,Bach, Rogers and Hammerstein, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Bernstein, Louis Armstrong, Hank Williams, Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra , Dizier Hollland, Miles Davis , Bob Dylan, Carole King, Marvin Gaye, Souza , Fister, Gilbert and Sullivan etcetera etcetera
This definately made my eyes water, especially when "The End" began to play and the photos of the band as youngsters in the early days were shown simultaneously.... just beautiful. THIS is how I will always remember the greatest rock & roll band ever: The Beatles!
its amazing how they went from silly lyrics like "she loves you, yeah yeah yeah!" to such meaningful ones like "and in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make" in less than 10 years. the progress of their relationship is amazing. i love these guys, from 1962 all the way to 1970 and beyond
...and John at the very end said, “I hope we passed the audition” lol. You more than passed the audition, baby. You inspired us all, through the generations.
Beatles were extremely creative and productive. It is just mind boggling how much great stuff they were able to put out during those few years, especially given their constant touring till 1966.
My Sister and I debate about their Favorite Era. I admit I loved the early stuff like "Paperback Writer, We Can Work It Out, not to mention Covers of R & B Songs from Motown, Little Richard, and Chuck Berry". She loved Strawberry Fields. My Father (RIP), made some Strawberries and Whipped Cream for my cousins and she happily Sang Strawberry Fields. I freaked out and I asked her where did you learn that, when she explained My Father taught her I was relieved.
In my opinion, the moment they stopped touring, their albums got better. All the greatest beatles classics were made after 1967 : Day in the life, Hey Jude, Here comes the sun, While my guitar gently weeps etc.
@@emperoriithepenguin8608 As great as Sgt Peppers is, and I am not taking anything away from it at all, to me (just my opinion) Revolver is their best album. It's that moment where they were at their best from being a rock band crossing into psychedelia and the ethereal mind concepts while not going full tilt psychedelic. The best of both worlds.

Thoroughly enjoyed this. Shows very well how the Beatles changed over those relatively few years as their music also evolved beyond recognition from the Cavern days. Beatles albums were an event and also another guide to their development. Every album was different from the one before. Sometimes utterly different and that also made them stand out against other famous performers.
