My Daughter and I was in Portland May of 2019 .this was her 2nd trip there and it was my first...We sooooo love this ice cream place and other places up the street too and more lol..love the grilled cheese bus too that's up the street.can't wait to come back.
You’re the second person to comment this today alone lol! 🤣 I’ll take it! Pam is pretty awesome. We actually dressed up as Jim and Pam for Halloween one year 😆
Hahaha this is hilarious! Do y’all think I look like her or act like her? I’ve never been told this in real life, only on RUclips! I normally get told I look like Juno lol
This popped up on my suggested and it made me smile. I worked at the panini booth at the Portland Saturday market and grew up going there as my family had two booths. They had to end their business due to Covid. Thank you for this awesome video of things actual Portlanders would do.
We are so sorry to hear about your family's business! We're really glad to hear you enjoyed the video though, we LOVE Portland (especially the food) and cannot wait to make it back someday!
I’m leaving the PNW for the east coast next month. When I get homesick 😭 I will be watching all of these west coast wonders for sure! Thank you A & K ! ❤️👏🏻
Oh my goodness! I wish I could eat that much! haha Loved both vlogs about Portland and the gorge. Lived in Beaverton for a few months when I was a kid but Portland and Beaverton have really grown up since then! We would both love to visit again. Will have to keep some of those places in mind when we go. Thanks!
Hi guys. I just discovered your vlog on Portland. I’m from Portland. Thank for a wonderful review. I want to check out your vlog on Seattle. I hope you make more on the two cities. Thank you
You need to add Sugar Street Bakery and Bistro on this list. Honestly the cupcakes are Delicious and they are named after Portland streets.... Naito, Pettygrove, Alberta, etc. This place is so popular but still a lot of non locals have no idea about it!
Oh man....I want to go to Portland!!! Aside from all the beauty there....that food! Loved watching you two enjoy every sip of coffee and every bite of delicious food! You are always entertaining and make me smile so BIG! Keep on dancing! 💃🏾
Hi guys. I really like your videos. I am most likely going to Northern Cali and Oregon on a Road trip with the family next year, so I found your Oregon content and really liked what I found. Hopefully you can give me some more tips when the time comes 😊 I live in Denmark which is pretty far from the Pacific Northwest but If you ever plan to visit Europe and Copenhagen let me know. I run a food tour in the City, and consider yourselves invited along.
Hi! We are so glad you liked the videos! That sounds like it will be an amazing trip! We have been to Northern California a few times and LOVE Oregon and think they are some of the prettiest places in the US...you're in for a treat! 😊We have some blogs on the Redwoods and Oregon, so let us know when you're planning your trip and we would be happy to send you a ton of recommendations! And we will 100% visit Denmark in the future! We would love to go there and would LOVE to do a food tour! That would be so fun!
Great. I will go follow you with my food tour profile (Copenhagen food crawl) on Instagram. Go check it out what I’m all about and follow me If you want to. And keep me in mind when you hit Denmark 😊
Love the food places . Tha k you. But you guys need to fix the chapter headings - they are your old video for Oregon coast Will check out your Portland site.
Hey, can someone please tell me if the Rose City food park is only closed because of Covid, or has it been closed down for good? Getting ready to move there from Germany in 6 months and wanted to know. TIA for responding ☺️
Interesting …but you need to add the famous waterfall….and or hike on a local scenic trail….next time on an upcoming visit…less focus on food…more on activities 🤍still love your channel…who doggie sits for your adorable dog….🦮.

Hi, are you gluten intolerant? Just wondering why you said you couldn't eat the biscuits...(I have Celiac so I can't have gluten). My husband and I are coming to Portland at the end of August, beginning of Sept this year for our 5 year anniversary, and I'm so excited. Thank you so much for these videos!
Hi Christy! I am not celiac, but I am sensitive to gluten (although I ate a TON of gluten in Italy just fine, but it’s processed a bit differently there). Portland is an AWESOME city, especially in the summer. Y’all are going to have a blast! It’s one of our favorite cities for food and many spots are super friendly to dietary restrictions! A couple spots we love that aren’t on this vlog but are gluten free friendly are Teote, ¿Por Que No?, and Pok Pok (our FAV! And they do a gluten free kao soi!). Have an awesome trip and let us know if you have any questions before you go! 🤗
@@AdventuresofAplusK Oh my gosh thank you!! Super helpful. Very much looking forward to this trip!! Have you ever been to a McMenamins? We are staying with friends at the Edgefield location one of the nights. Thanks again for all the great info! Especially the gluten free tips!
Of course, always happy to help! We haven’t been to one, but we heard it’s an institution! I thought it was just a bunch of pubs/restaurants, but I had no idea they had hotels too! 😱
The kind of positive travel content the world needs… Thanks for showcasing the good of our city! I hope she can come back to where she used to be.
🤣
My favourite city I've ever been to. Every time I go to the USa for vacation, I spend a week or two in Portland. Awesome!

Pips is the best donut shop in Portland hands down! I don't even usually like donuts and I like pips. Great video!
100% agree! Although we haven’t tried Blue Star, but we hear they are good too!
@@AdventuresofAplusK Blue Star is just a totally different thing, worth trying for some of the unique flavors, but not as good as pips :)

It's an amazing spot! The owners care a ton about the community (and their team) as well!
You’re REALLY making me miss Portland! I haven’t been there in about ten years. A trip is way overdue.
Love love love Powell’s Books. Love that you can get both new and used books on the same shelf. Also, I didn’t know how to pronounce Coava either.
Oh ya we love Powell’s too!

I don't think pips and blue star can be compared. They're 2 VERY DIFFERENT DONUTS.

I wanna try that Empanada truck at The Saturday Market!!!

If Coava is the best latte you’ve had recently, you haven’t had a good latte recently. They let their quality slip so much the last seven or so years.
This video was filmed in March 2019...it was great then...can't speak to how it's been since
Thanks for watching
So early, youtube wasn't even done processing the video yet! But that biscuit looked amazing, even in 360p.
Hahaha we hate that it takes so long to process! 🤣 But that biscuit was amazing and I’m glad it looked good even super grainy 😍

Probably not as much as down south, but we have seen them at lots of places!

A little dramatic id say
Alberta has some of the besst bbq
