Vancouver is seriously such an amazing city! We think it’s pretty underrated and it has SO much to offer, both with delicious food and beautiful views. Thank you so much for watching! 💕
Vancouver is gorgeous, and you went to some really cool places . What I really enjoyed about this video is that you guys are both just wonderful people. You're super positive and upbeat. I love it. Subscribed, and will be looking forward to more of your videos 😁
Granville island is the best. It is hard to go to Pike palace after Granville Island as I feel it is wayyyy better. Siegels are so yummy! Nanaimo bars are a Canadian tradition. We make them every year for Christmas. You need custard power with icing sugar in the middle. Chocolate on top and then usually graham wafer crumbs, nuts, coconut, butter sugar on the bottom. Super easy to make. Multi step process but not hard.
After watching you guys travel through Vancouver this summer my husband and I decided to head there to celebrate our 25th anniversary. 😊 And your videos are the best preparation because we love hiking and we love food.
I don't know what it is about the water here. It is sooo soft. It doesn't make a great bagel. I used to have the bagels in Montreal. The bagels in Vancouver are meh by comparison. I still buy them but very rarely.
@@MickLoud999 That's too bad, wife and I are actually thinking about going to Montreal for the holidays, definitely will try the food there if we go! :)
Love Deep Cove, used to live in North Vancouver. Glad to see you highlight it. Hope you got to check out Honey Doughnuts & Goodies, their Doughnuts are a rare treat.
Granville Island is so much more than the Public Market. I used to live beside the Island for years. I could walk out my back door and be right on the Island. I would take my daughter to Kid's Market which is a 2 story fun house for kids. There is still industry on the Island like Ocean cement. It is also home to dozens of artisan spots. There are clubs and restaurants. I would say the public market takes up less then 4.2% of the Island's real estate. I have missed so many of the attractions. I don't know if the hotel or Emily Carr School of design are still there! The rec centre and the canoe club as well. So much to do. I had a tonne of fun there!!
Vancouver is one of the most amazing cities in the world. I remember back in the 1970's and a city planner asking what do you want to be in 50 years ...well the city got it right.
Ooh I miss Siegel's bagels. I used to go to one in kits. Good to know there is one in granville island. Check out the nut merchant. Chili lime sriracha Can't wait to go back to try these places. Yer makin me hungry! Granville island is awesome. I miss it....and kits beach. That pool is a long olympic length pool. Swam it it once...longest laps gorgeous pool There is a delicious chowder in Horseshoe bay right on the water..but been so long i forgot the name...but remembee the awesome thick chowder. And checkout the market in northvan...just on otherside of the seabus. Mini cruise and lunch.
Always wanted to go here! Crazy to even say I haven't been there yet, seeing as I live on Vancouver Island, unfortunately it just has never worked out when I've been in Vancouver, on the bucket list! That bagel thrower was crazy, can you see a new employee doing that, oops missed the bucket again 🧐😯😳 wonder how many times that actually happens!
It helps if you say right away that it's Vancouver, Canada vs. Vancouver, WA - especially since I just saw your video on Portland. Great video on Portland, btw. 👍👍
Oh we would LOVE that! We have never been north of Whistler, but hope to drive up to Alaska. We also have plans to visit the eastern provinces soon too!
There is amazing east indian food, mexican restaurants, some of the worlds best sushi......the beer..... Try Sharkeys Fish and Chips on the Sunshine Coast next time.
OMG...I want one of those Nanaimo Bars!!! Yours looked so delicious! Not to mention ALL the other foods! You two sure find the best places to eat and tour!
If you ever get the time go to Richmond another city part of metro Vancouver , It is beside the Airport, this place has great Choice of Asian foods all over , The malls are Chinese influenced , a mixture of Hong Kong , Taiwan, and other regions

I made it to Granville island this summer and got a bleu cheese and pear macaroon as well as a lychee and lavender one. The bleu cheese and the lavender flavors both overpowed their respective flavor partners though. Next time I'll try something a little more normal.

It is so awesome! And right?! I wonder if they miss often! I would! 🤣
First off, I live here in Vancouver. I'm at the outskirts. And secondly, the sneeze at 10:31 while Kathryn was in mid-statement. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hahahahah now if that happened we'd all run and hide! 😜 We miss markets like that!
It helps if you say right away that it's Vancouver, Canada vs. Vancouver, WA - especially since I just saw your video on Portland. Great video on Portland, btw.

Oh wow what a unique combo!
Hello my new friend, nice video, like
where did you 2 eat that night in Vancouver
We went to the Richmond Night Market. We have another video on our experience there.
👍👍🙌🙌
You guys went to Deep cove and you did not tried the famous Honey Donuts? Try next time. You will not regret it.
We definitely wanted to, but I unfortunately cannot eat them 😭. I’ll make Adam try one for me next time!
Nobody calls it Kitsilano. We all just call it "Kits".
We like to share the actual names of places to not confuse anyone who may be visiting and not know the nicknames.
the adds realy suck
Just like most of RUclips, we only have ads at the beginning of our video and they are skippable 😊
