While gen 5 is my favorite, gen 1 has easily the best trainer battle theme, when I heard the newer part in FrLg's version of the song combined with gen 1's chiptune at 1:25 I got chills!! So awesome!!

What if in an alternate timeline, Gen 1 introduced a female protagonist? With her design based on the beta girl from Capumon's early concept arts(where she wore similar clothes to beta Red's, but with curly hair and girly features).
But can we just take a moment to appreciate all the little details here? The mixing of the “trainers eyes meet” music? The combo of Gen 1 and Gen 2 Kanto battle theme? All the sound effects? HOW do you not have more subscribers bro?!?

The gen 5 low health music caught me off guard and I laughed at how nostalgic it was for me.

Those menu selection sfx and the Pokemon cries are the icing on top to what makes these feel more immersive.
