I don't know what it is with the transition between gen 7 and 8, but I want a 30 minute version of the entire gen 8 battle soundtrack with that style. I've re-heard it so many times I've legit lost count. I'd pay for this.

I love this medley so much! It brings back great memories of playing the games! One of my friends got me into the main series Pokemon games in 5th grade! This was a while ago and times change. Our friendship lasted a lot more than a few years. She eventually moved away since her parents were getting older and they wanted to be closer to relatives in far away state. After she moved with her parents, we stopped chatting as much. She didn't like texting, I suppose. She was nervous to make phone calls usually. We used to call a few times a year and text weekly. Things changed with her and she eventually stopped acting like a friend should. I think she may have been going through a tough time. I was there for her through it all. Yet, she stopped answering my weekly check in texts without explanation. She wouldn't answer calls nor make them anymore. She left me in the dark as to the reason why. Stuff happens in life. I wish her well, even though she ditched me and the friendship out of the blue. However, although it was very hard when she gave up on being friends long distance sometime after she and her family moved, I don't regret meeting that friend. She was my best friend for years! It still hurts me that she left the friendship circle without so much as an explanation nor a heartfelt goodbye said. I try to remember the good times. I learned to cherish those close to oneself for nobody knows what the future may hold. Even though she really hurt my feelings by ditching friendship in the end, I wish her the best. I hope she is doing well. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk. TLDR: This song medley's amazing and it brings back so many memories. Cherish those friends, family, or other people you care about in your life. We do not know what the future holds, so let's try to enjoy the present! Stay safe and hydrated, Everyone! <3

A nice throwback would be if they had just kept the original escape theme for all games, but mixed the music for the system's capabilities. Oh, and I heard one where they didn't have the second part at the end, and just repeated the main theme... yeah not gonna work. It needs the whole thing to be perfect. Metroid 2's escape was too calm... they could have jacked it up a lot... both the theme and the escape itself. NES escape theme, beefed up Metroid 2 escape.

This remix will never receive all the love and appreciation it truly deserves

7:18 FINALLY a remix that does the drums. Every other remix of this song completely misses it or puts them in extremely low volume, even the official Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl put it at extremely low volume

I've always loved NEStroid/MZM/MP2/AM2R escape themes, but the one thing that makes NEStroid's better is the heroic part at the end of the theme, i would like to see that recreated in the other three games to see how they'd fare against the original theme
