I bet I watched 6 videos and couldn’t get mine to work until I saw yours. Nobody said anything about the wire underneath you separate and plug into the other two until you did. Thx 😊
Hi, It;s been 5 years or so since you put up this video and maybe you have already discovered this method of changing or removing wire from the welder. However, instead of cutting the wire at the drive, you can save all that wire by simply loosening the tension roller, cut the ball off the end of the wire and just roll back the wire onto the spool and you won't waist wire. I do this now and it has become a habit.

I have the same welder and with flux core wire i swapped the power and ground back and forth and could not tell a difference when doing exhaust work.... Its turned all the way down and its still to hot. Im unable to weld continuously. The only way to not burn through is pulse the trigger. One dot at a time Is yours the same?
Hey Brent I do the same thing on the exhaust after that I run wider beat because it's more material and will not going to burn thru I always use gas mixture Good luck 😉👍
Teh flux core is way more aggressive than the MIG setup. If you look at the welding chart in the machine, the flux core allows welding 1/2" material, but MIG maxes out at 3/16". So I think you will have much more success with MIG.
I have the Lincoln 100sg looks exactly the same when the spool is put in there it's supposed to be that loose shouldnt there be tension on the spool to stop unraveling? Idk mine just wont get tension no matter what but it looks like yours doesnt either
After seeing this, i think i will get the spool gun. I heard that if you decide to use the same gun, you have to change the liner inside, otherwise you risk contamination
Thanks for watching and commenting buddy, probably it is but everything is about to prep the surface most important to use Stanley steel brush and acetone 😉👊
