Everton need to be out of the bottom 3 to have any hope of a reduction to their penalty. The political implications of putting another team in the relegation spots are too dangerous for the PL.
And good luck to you too, thought you would be in trouble this season after the summer shenanigans but the team has definitely overachieved. Good that you gave a chance to Gary O'Neil after his ridiculous sacking by Bournemouth and good to see it paying off.

So can't say for a fact Everton would defo went down. Think Everton need start making money of the pitch in order to try to be able spend more on quality of it
Burnley, under Dyche, were very stingy about giving up goals, too. They didn't score much, though, which was a problem. Lots of 0-0 & 1-1 draws, and losses were often 0-1. But the main reason I think Everton will stay up is that this season's Burnley, Luton & Sheffield United are the worst trio in PL history. So bad that you might stay up with only 20 points, and I think Everton will earn over 40, leaving them with 30+.
