Spotted Towhee singing in spring

This Spotted Towhee was singing his heart out. It was springtime and he was probably either looking for a mate or simply staking claim to some territory. I'm not too happy with the auto-focus in this handheld video, but I'm quite pleased with the audio part of it :)
This video was taken in March 2024 in northern California. Early on in the video, you might hear a Nuttall's Woodpecker doing its loud trilling call from another tree.
