Jim, I love your channel and ministry. I'm the last guy on earth that anyone would pick for their debate team -- I'm just not wired for quick-wit responses in any conversation, much less ones regarding deep philosophical or theological material. But with your help, I am becoming a stronger case maker for Christ. God bless you sir.

I ve thought for a long time, that if you want to know about the Historical Jesus, read what his Enemies wrote, (unbaised account).

Thats an odd thought that now future generations will all know who we are when we usually don't know our ancestors past 3 or 4 generations.

applying your methodologies, and sufficient research and the discovery of the dead sea scrolls and the essene calendar, we can now sufficiently argue and piece together that the narratives of the gospel of mark were narrated using the essene calendar while john narrated using the jewish calendar and their testimonies coincide perfectly. you can now establish that when jesus asked his apostles to prepare for the passover, it was monday, 10 nisan in the jewish calendar.
the last supper was held in the upper room (cenacle) in the essene quarter on tuesday night, and jesus was arrested after 9 pm that night in the garden of gethsemane; the mock trial under annas was held at the high priest's house until midnight and jesus was held in the dungeon of the high priest.
jesus was tried before the sanhedrin on wednesday starting 9 am and lasting until 3pm.
jesus was then presented and tried before pilate on thursday morning, and sent by pilate before agrippa in the afternoon of thursday; all within the twin palace inside the praetorium on the western side of the city, current armenian patriarchate.
jesus was then condemned to death on friday, 14 nisan on the calendar of the jews, april 3rd, 33 ad, and was crucified and died at golgotha at 3pm at the sound of the second tamid offering. we know this was the day of crucifixion because it satisfies all the conditions enumerated in the gospels and punctuated with the blood moon that also occurred on that same day after sunset, anyone can verify this eclipse from the nasa catalogs.
i hope you can verify for yourself that and share it with anyone

Much appreciated. Whatever evidence, whether friendly or hostile, needs to be examined and scrutinized for authenticity and reliability. One cannot just rule out friendly testimony, just as in a court case. They must listen carefully and see if the evidence provided is logical, compatible with historical background, archaeology, and the question, why should the testator lie? What would he gain or lose from saying what he said? For those who insist on co-existing evidence, it is laughably ridiculous considering how many non-Christian historians or authoritative sources would care about a Jewish teacher dying a common Roman capital penalty in a backwater part of the Empire? Besides, looking at ancient manuscripts, how many others had accounts written around the time of the persons of interest? I believe none.

Outstanding, curious what your view point on Jesus in the Talmud is?

    • @norikotheguardian

I'm fairly new to this in-depth research so forgive me if I'm wrong, but "Jesus" seems to have been a common name when the Talmud was written so not every "Jesus" in the Talmud refers to our Christ; however, the few clear references to Jesus Christ seem to be wholly negative, i.e. denying Him.

Anti Jew theory people bring this up all the time 😂 it is actually common knowledge that the Jews have temporarily denied Christ even though they will look upon him as Gods only begotten. Not sure what ur point is

As we travel more into the 21st century, the discarding of Jesus Christ as a historical person (along with religion in general) has attained to greater heights, despite sound evidence to the contrary.
For example, Jewish historian (and priest) Flavius Josephus (about 37-101 C.E. whose original name was Joseph Ben Matthias) stated that Annas, a Jewish high priest who had political influence, "convened the judges of the Sanhedrin (Jewish high court) and brought before them a man named James, the brother of Jesus who was called the Christ".(Jewish Antiquities, Book XX, 200)
Roman historian Tacitus (about 56-120 C.E., who was neither Jewish nor Christian) said in his Annals that Nero was considered responsible for the great fire in Rome, but instead Nero accused the Christians in order to "scotch the rumour". He further said that "Christus (Christ), the founder of the name [Christian], had undergone the death penalty in the reign of Tiberius (Caesar), by sentence of the procurator (Judean governor) Pontius Pilate".(Annals, Book XV, 44)
Then there is Roman historian Suetonius (about 70-130 C.E., who too was neither Jewish nor Christian) that wrote: "Since the Jews constantly made disturbances at the instigation of Chrestus (or Christ, who was not responsible for any disturbances but it was because the Jews hated Jesus, and they were the source of these disturbances), he (Roman Emperor Claudius) expelled them from Rome".(The Deified Claudius, Book XXV, 4)
Roman author and administrator in Bithynia (modern day Turkey), Pliny the Younger (about 61-113 C.E., who also was neither Jewish nor Christian) spoke of Christ Jesus in the context of trying to force Christians to recant from following him by "offering adoration, with wine and frankincense, to your (Roman Emperor Trajan) image" or else be executed.(Pliny-Letters, Book X, XCVI)
How can someone who never existed impact the world so much that about 1/3 of it professes to be his followers ? How can someone who never existed give wisdom that exceeds all human thought ? How can someone who never existed be able to foretell the downfall of the Jewish system 37 years in advance of destructive events that happened in 70 C.E.?(Luke 19:41-44) How can our calendar be based on a man's supposed birth year who never existed ?
The historian H. G. Wells said that a man’s greatness can be measured by ‘what he leaves to grow, and whether he started others to think along fresh lines with a vigor that persisted after him.’ Wells, though not claiming to be a Christian, acknowledged: “By this test Jesus stands first.”
Alexander the Great, Charlemagne (styled “the Great” even in his own lifetime), and Napoleon Bonaparte were powerful rulers. By their formidable presence, they wielded great influence over those they commanded. Yet, Napoleon is reported to have said: “Jesus Christ has influenced and commanded His subjects without His visible bodily presence.”
