Love the entire Springbank line, just hate how much the price has gone up in the last few years. Surprised the finish was so muted for this one, especially because the finish on the 15 is always so damn good. Great review as always, love the whisky!
Yea a little disappointed in the finish. Love Springbank as well just cannot find it or if you do ya gotta pay a bunch more. I appreciate having the whisky though because it is still good, cheers 🥃!
It’s fabulous! The Craigellachie 14 is terrific and is sometimes suggested as an alt for Springbank 10. Al at the Whisky Friend and John at Just Whisky have both suggested Craigellachie as alternatives! It makes sense! Superb whisky!
@christinecamley Awesome, I’m gonna be adding some craigellachie to my collection this year. Another alternative for some Springbank is honestly Glen Scotia 15. Really nice brine zestful character and it’s only $85!
This was my third pour of the bottle over about 10 days. That's my process before all bottles but I'll go back to it soon and see if it's changed for me at all
In Poland, Springbank 18 yo costs about 1200 zł (~ 300$). In my opinion, that's way too much. For much less, because for 440 PLN (~110$) you can buy Ancnoc 18 yo or Longmorn 18 yo which keep a very high level. Greetings 👍🥃
Yes the price is terrible. Trying to find alternatives is almost required these days. You just added 2 more whiskies on my “need to try” list though so thanks, cheers 🥃

Some more whiskey education. I hope you enjoy this: ruclips.net/video/1HDBSm2s18s/видео.html
Hahaha that was awesome thanks for the share!
Spectacular scotch! If ppl can find it the Craigellachie 17 is a good alternative!
I don’t think craigellachie is talked about enough and I can’t wait to bring it on the channel, excellent point! Cheers 🥃

@@glencairngamer I haven't had Glen Scotia yet. I will find a bottle of the Glen Scotia 15 and explore! Thanks so much! Exciting! 🙂
Happy searching, no problem!
You need to let the bottle oxidize for a few weeks. Then try it again.
