In 1985, I was 13, we visited Azores islands for two months. There was only one channel on the tv there and there was a variety of different shows. Some were Portuguese novellas, some were old movies with subtitles. On Saturday they had two shows that I couldn't miss, one was a weekly countdown of the top music videos and the other was the Dukes. They called it "Os Tres Dukes" (The Three Dukes).
I had a few Dukes of Hazzard toys in my life. I had the ERTL Hazzard County playset with the Boar's Nest, courthouse, & Duke Farm. I also had those Dukes Wrist Racers where you launched cars from your wrist.
It sad to watch this now ! Knowing the Dukes fate! Lot of people are trying to make the term “cracker” into a race saying too! Miss the show it got me to appreciate country music! Miss the toys too !! Now that toy r us is gone and Walmart removed an thing with that flag! It’s a shame!

And this man's honor was so legendary that this simple promise was accepted as fact even within the legal system. In the modern age of "no cash bail" that's nothing, but at the time it would have been more extraordinary than flying Mopars..

It’s so stupid for anyone to come to the conclusion that the rebel flag on the car made it such a racist show, preventing them from airing the show on tv for eternity. If that’s the only issue, there is technology out there that can erase the flag on the car from existence. There’s no other reason for preventing other generations to see how a show that projected wholesome family life in small town USA with moral values mixed in with some country humor with morality winning out at the end of every show. There hasn’t been anything on tv since and will probably never be again.

I got FIRE TV and they have a channel where they play The Dukes Of Hazard 24 hours seven days a week. I watch it every night before going to bed. This show is one of the reason I stayed home on Saturday night. Primetime television was at it's fiery best then.
Not one person was killed on the show? On the show you are right. But sadly, a person did die in making one of the episodes (though not sure which one). He was one of the stunt drivers for the show & I saw a video sometime ago where they said a stunt driver was killed while performing one of the stunts. Sad really, but it did in fact happen. Just saying. Great show though. Miss seeing it on TV. RIP to those on the show we loss.
Well ...the dukes of hazard was personally for me more than a first rate show & find it incredibly funny on top of that the beautiful natural shape body flame she burned everything on her way to the point that not even the fire fighters could checked the flame out & do something about & as I said the show delivers creative episodes that some how allow the public to have some good time .
