"Sorry I almost broke your furniture"
Master Jin: I'll pay!
😂😂😂😂😂😂
I can't take their fight seriously because of Eric Tsang. I thought this film is a parody of IP man series.
A.D. 公元 2021尾-2022頭,邊個向媒體(最近)公開宣楊聲稱話: 餓死、病...,(某名人定專家或是專員)有乜意思,所指為誰?唔該講緊邊個,借問(一聲),係咪指某位/人之(千金)!
But he never paid for the damages 😂
@@waley9526 He did pay. Take note of the Ip Man 2. When Master Ip was jailed together with his student and also Master Jin.
Ip Man did ask Master Jin to borrow some money to bail out his student Leung.
The best part of this spar was the end where he apologized for almost breaking his table and Ip thanked Master Ng for his grift of oranges. Such respect and honor between the two of them. also real masters spar in private to compare notes, thought that awesome, too!
Sorry 4 late comment. If you understand some Cantonese. Both apologies carried a certain tone of sarcasm. XD
@@macrick sarcasm is the way of life from elites
His thousand punches were like an 8 year old elementary school kid haha
1:33 remembers elementary school kids fighting
I loved when they said lets trade notes and sparred privately..thats what real Masters do..respect
Also, the "Ooops, let's stop before we break the furniture," moment at the end when they realize they're getting too rambunctious.
Way too many movies fail to differentiate between friendly sparring and a serious fight.
+Just A Dude yeap lol
Armartis Youngswick
Too much respect 🙏
@@Just_A_Dude I wouldn't notice that, how can they be such mature?
While in other universe, Ipman having a fight..
Breaks the table...
Ipman: "🤨"
Northern fighter: "I pay!!!"
for 2 guys who dont actually practice martial arts, this was an incredible scene. no one makes fight scenes like HK does
@ASAP.69 I did too, but I couldn't do any of that stuff.
@Akuma.69I think it’s moreso they were overshadowed by acting in drama films and comedies than martial arts, but yes they do have knowledgable backgrounds in martial arts. This is coming from someone who watches a lot of HK films and being a HKer myself
His thousand punches were like an 8 year old elementary school kid wkk
1:34 hahha His thousand punches were like an 8 year old elementary school kid

For two old guys who aren't actually martial artists they did a decent job, I can understand the casting in this move since both these guys are big shot actors in HK, and I guess they got choreographers who kind of knew what they were doing. Donnie obviously had an advantage of being a great martial artist in addition to being a good actor.
+Kevin Leugan Yeah. This is basically a drama. And the real Ip Man had a pretty rough life. Anthony Wong's melancholic portrayal is probably closer to reality than Donnie Yen's. Of course Ip Man's martial skills are better represented by Donnie.
See my comment above
Kevin Leugan I think Anthony once said that he had learnt some martial arts and Eric was a stuntman before he became famous. So both really had some martial arts backgrounds in their young days.
Anthony Wong indeed knows kung fu but thats more of his personal hobby
I cant even tell if donnie is actng or not.
True master true fight. Nothing enemity pure sportsmanship. Great
We are more lucky than the people behind the doors. They couldn't witness the fight properly . We clearly did.
🙂😌😌😌😳😳😳
Haha that true
Well said.
Camera man is the best
Americans or people of the west are immatures. Periodt.
This indoor spar has more manners than the one from first Ip Man by Donnie Yen. No furnitures had been broken, and when the guest actually almost broke one, he actually apologised. Salute.
the Asian world is light years better than the western world when it comes to properly editing fight scene. That was perfectly done. loved it.
I couldn't agree more !!!
bruceleroy1973 jag
not necessarily bro, asians choregraph most western fight scenes nowadays anyway lol, but yes raw editing is better
Yeah. With the exception of Kings man ofc
I'm still digging your name, sir 😂😂
been watching these two actors since I was 10 years old, crazy how I'm now 40 and these guys are seniors, but they still kick butt
1:34 hahhaha 😂😂😂😂
"A true master always respects their opponents." This clip is the proof of that.
It's a movie
At that same they don't want to fight... They just need to stop them.
I love how they are both sparing and then both stop at the same time to save each others items 🤣
I have seen many such contests, and participated in more than a few personally. It does them much honor to contend with one another as equals, with respect.
This ip man version its not bad at all. Love it 🔥👍
Mutual respect for the opponent is the pinnacle of the martial spirit.
Finally in a IP Man movie, furniture was spared!
This Ip Man is so wholesome. I like it.
1:34 hahha His thousand punches were like an 8 year old elementary school kid
these two great actors were marvelous acting as kungfu masters...
"Thanks for the oranges" lmao so dead
Collin Aldridge
means you lost
What does it mean? An idiom?
pretty sure its like a custom to give gifts when a chinese visit another household. Maybe this will help? www.thedailychina.org/gift-giving-in-chinese-culture/
The godfather
I experience this a lot, cuz my parents are from Hong Kong.
This is the friendliest match in the whole series. Everyone else had something to prove, had a beef, or were out for revenge.
It's nice to see a genuinely friendly spar for a change.
2:44 love the spring action in the leg defence, albeit emphasised. It would take a perfect structure to pull that off in reality. Anthony Wong shows some ok chi sau given he had little experience. Great scene. Benevolence is sadly rare these days...
No end to learning martial arts 👊
I love the respect they give each other after the fight
Donnie is more Ip Man than real life Ip Man in my opinion lol
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I always like the fight which ends with respect & knowledge.
If it's a bad guy, then need to be punished 😉
The one thing I always liked about the Ip Man character is his total economy of energy. Everyone he fights always wastes energy on flashy feints and showy moves. Ip Man never does that, each move is either a block or a counter attack and that's it. If he does show any flash, it's usually at the end when he's finishing you off. lol
Humble is a great attribute wether one knows martial arts or not. It's a great part of wisdom.
For these great masters fight is a way of civilized conversation
0:23 -> I love how Master Ng smiles wildly when Ip Man's students are trying to figure out who should receive his challenge to their school.
Wonderful entertainment. Nuff said.
I like 1... Ip Man: The legend is born & Donnie Yen...
Never knew Eric Tsang was this good at film Kung Fu. At that age nonetheless.
Impressive, most impressive. 😊

I'm a big fan of Anthony Wong, pretty versatile actor, Nothing but Love Anthony.
Yes, very versatile considering he was making human bbq buns in one of his 90s movie LOL
@@Robert-mj5ge dont forget he pick nose frequently in young and dangerous ahahaha
@@Robert-mj5ge great movies
1:33 remembers elementary school kids fighting hahhaq
2:55 "Sorry I almost broke your furniture..."
People been breaking his furniture for 40 years dude, it's ok.
Asian actors are really versatile. Anthony Wong is mostly drama/comedy actor. He learned Wing Chun for this movie, and he did a great job. His opponent in this scene was Eric Tsang, legendary martial arts actor.
+ПичвајзПикчерс Haha, Eric Tsang is legendary in comedies but never martial arts!
Anthony looked a little more clumsy and unrefined compared to Eric, which is expected since Eric started in the business as a stuntman. They did alright, it's the action design that could use some inspiration.
+chessten I think he's a legendary comedian and plays martial arts as a choregraphy. He could suck at fighting but he really impressionate a fighter perfectly. I think Bruce Lee or another real fighter once said he had to increase all movements to "make the show" on films because real fight would look boring as hell for spectators.
Indeed. JKD is pretty boring, because of economics of the movements. So, no haymakers, no roundkicks, no jumps, flips, nothing that basically defines Bruce Lee's on screen persona.
+ПичвајзПикчерс to be honest, his wing chun is not very refined either. Shoulders elevated many time, lowered wu-sau, useless man-sau, elbows are outside the 4 gate constantly etc. From a technical standpoint, its pretty bad, however it is passable for a movie. And his mistakes are probably due to the choreography as well.
i like the malevolent smile of the master, "yeah i'm going to kick your ass"
The fight ends with thanking for the oranges. That's sweet.
One of the best scenes from the movie
This is my first time in my whole life to see Eric Tsang doing martial arts.
Kung fu dunk
i like the portrayed humility and humbleness.. true master of martial arts never stop learning..
That was actually surprisingly well done considering their age
tidak berhenti tertawa melihat menit ke 1:33 pukulan seribu anak 6 tahun hahhaha 😂
I like when they stop the fight NG save the furniture and IPman save the oranges.
"trade notes" yeah let's go!
I love this series!! I believe I'll watch it again!!
"the best way to fight is don't fight" (Ip man)

Can't stop laughing when I see the 1:33 mark of a 6 year old's thousand punches hahaha😂
The real Yip Man looked closer to this man than Donnie Yen. Donnie Yen's Ip Man movie is exaggerated as well.
His name is Anthony Wong, he is of half British, as his father are an Englishman. Look at his face and you know he looks quite European.
Can't stop laughing when I see the 1:33 mark of a 6 year old's thousand punches hahaha 😂😂
Hun Gar vs Wing Chun? Nice...
Yip man is a badass considering that he is ip mans son
+SirBrunch Yip man and ip man are same.
+Guillaume Bibaut (y0m) oh sorry I didn't know thanks
haha minute 1:34 very funny, like small children fighting while crying😂😂
Wing Chun is very graceful in movements.
Me and my friend trying to act:
Me:* fake punch
Ma friend: *does a backflip and dies
🤣🤣🤣
Anthony wong 🙌💕💕💕💕
Beautiful Choreography
Ng Jung, the opponent of Ip Man, seems to symbolically signify Ng Siu Jung because he says he is the leader in White Crane style. According to history, there's never a fight between White Crane and Wing Chun, just between White Crane and Tai Chi (Wu style).
2:54-2:55
"I almost broker your furniture. My apologies."
Unlike the other IP Man movies....
THIS IS IP MAN IN OLD AGE, SHOULD BE, OLD BUT STRONG AND ACURATED IN MOVING PUNCH.
That was a great show of masters.Really well done!
Can't stop laughing when I see the 1:33 mark of a 6 year old's thousand punches hahaha😂
They meet again in the next life after their deaths in Infernal Affairs, as Kung Fu masters.
you guys say this is a fake Yip Man and you tell me Donnie Yen is Yip Man lol

He is ip man master
that is correct
Sr Student: "leave us be now"
Ip Man's eyes: you too fool
This man is own master class kunfu
no stuntman except angle shoot from ceiling and behind the door,.. cool.
This is what happens when two masters of their respective crafts decide to have a little fun. Sure, they walk away a little banged up but that's actually part of said fun.
2:22 ip man starts going hard mode
No One Is Better Than Donnie Yen For IP MAn
I respectfully disagree. I think they all bring something unique to the role. Anthony Wong is a legendary actor, who was portraying an older version of Ip Man in this film. I think he perfectly nailed it.
Lol, never seen Eric tsang play a serious role , always the comical one
Then watch Infernal Affairs (the original of "The Departed"). You'll be surprised.
I love how they always apologize when they break furniture lol
Ip man superb
Oldies but Goldies. Great moves!
The 3 men that played Ip man did a superb job
I wish we could have seen him in person.
so now bunta not selling tofu, drift, drunk anymore..
instead open wingchun school and become a master too! XD
and after this fight, they both decided to go into crime and crime-fighting only to have ng throw bunta off the roof

This culture is so beautiful
This culture died out nearly a century ago , if it ever really existed

1:34 His thousand punches were like an 8 year old elementary school kid hahaha 😂😂😂
Life Goes On
Average people don't like changes. Not Donnie Yen, so what?? I know, the guy train so hard that he pisses blood after his training, but this is a movie!
I almost jumped off my chair when i saw that this film exists!
Now, off to my tracker!
gillian chung is stunning!!!
@ 2:50 when you skip the entire fight from the door being shut, it’s like they never spared, like the table just fell side down by accident and the bag of oranges fell off the ledge of the window. 😂
IP mam great legendary fighter with wisdom
Both are veteran actors who aren't real martial artist, see what good actors and good choreography can do?
Anthony Wong definitely has some background in martial arts. Though he almost never uses it in films. I believe he's practiced in monkey style Kung Fu. As for Eric, he was a stuntman in his early film years and had to learn choreography. I've also heard that he's somewhat practiced in Hung Gar.
Legend actor chinese.
Master Ng's fighting style reminds me of the snake style guy from Ip's fight against the 3 masters for the title of master, only actually effective
Master Ng's style is Tibetan White Crane
Ip Man while fighting: ...
Every opponent of him while fighting: HE! HA! HURGH! HUA!
I must tell the kids that this is Ip Man from the alternate universe
genio maeeesstrooo idoloo total invencible y con una altura nos da una leccion de vida vi todas sus peliculas no me lo voy a olvidar jamas en mi vida
i am accepted this is very excited Wing chun history
Its make believe
The best Donnie Yen for actor ip man
he going *hard* alright
so much respect. beautiful
This Actor Reminds me of The Actor Who Cast as Admiral Yamamoto
“Would you like to compare notes in private?”
Translation: Wanna throw hands?
No one plays a better Ip Man than Donnie Yen...
ipman is as great as the chi master. once exposed it becomes hilarious. his martial arts brings nothing more than entertainment
Great scene on several levels including testing one another in private.
Antony actually knows wing chun.
Best ..
That is mutual respect
That guy did a really good job of playing Donnie Yen.
