Wrong! Unfortunately there are loads of company software out there which are optimized for Internet Explorer and don't even work correctly in other browsers like firefox or googles spychrome (or chromium based browsers).
Chris, if you ever have less of a backlog then it might be cool if you would make your own little browser step by step. A great way to learn more about programming and a system. With regard to this video, this is to lure Windows-users and secretly get them used to the Linux way of doing things, making it easier for them to try out Linux. Right? Get them used to the terminal. It is a lot easier in Linux though.

There are some things that just aren't supposed to happen or aren't meant to be done. Mimicking Linux by using terminal/poweshell to install stuff on Windows is one such thing😀
You put a lot of faith in Google. Google Chrome sure does install nice in all systems. We've been using it for over 10 years on Linux through the terminal, never liked Chromium. Nice showing of the Power Shell, haven't seen many people use it. Of course this will work with Firefox just as well for a more secure browser.

Considering one of the first recommended commands after installing Arch is "pacman -S sudo", I think this command should work similarly to remove it. Btw, I use Arch.

Every website is making sure it is compatible with this type of browser now, and everything else is an afterthought. Firefox is NOT based on chromium and was pretty upset about Microsoft Edge moving to chromium base making their browser even more obscure.

I wish someone would distribute these "cleansed" or "purified" Windows ISO's. It's probably not too difficult to use Slipstream or other similar solutions, but I'm lazy and I want a ready-to-install cleaned-from-bloat ISO.

it's the same functionality for the program but in this case it's only a different path to install chrome... powershell it's something like terminal from Linux

If you want to do it in a different way - install "Windows 10 ShutUp" and "Win10 Tweaker". Run them and you will know what to do next :-)
You just love to bash Microsoft at every turns do you? Tho I'm curious about how you managed to remove most of the built in MS software without breaking stuff. Did you remove them after installing the OS or did you modify the ISO of the Windows 10? If it was the latter, is it legal to do that?
its not too often i see new tricks , that's good ... the trick with windows to get minimal start (+ drivers to run games) is to make a custom "safe mode boot" rather than removing bloot... i don't mess with it much anymore because the performance difference are +/- 2% .... but i would suggest to every one, to manually boot windows 10 for fastest boot , "make a copy of windows partition before playing around -= you have been warned -=) is to run " msconfig or services" and disable unused or unneeded services , and how minimal you want windows to be , ( note: turn on auto logon before disabling user account's servis ) i got windows 10 17xx to boot at about 1.1GB ram , and booted about 13's sec faster than stock boot ... im over the bs now im older , i sill set most services to manual boot, but this took some time for me to figure out , " i use a home network / i tether " that manual servis would not start and had to set some to auto" my current setup boots at 2.1GB ram .. " i like cortana and voice control - hands free operations - the only reason i use windows over linux "

I really detest Chrome from an installation point of view as well. The sheer arrogance of forcing an icon on the desktop is a pain in my ass. Installing itself in the user environment instead of in program files by default is also bullshit, executing anything from Appdata should be blocked with a security policy in the PC anyway, that's how you get ransomware. Frankly I wouldn't touch the toxic waste that's Chrome if I didn't have to for work reasons, Google world domination via browser is horrible for the Internet and horrible for the people. Install Firefox and join the uprising instead. Firefox 68 is kick ass and, frankly, anything but Chrome.
