    Duo Japanese has improved a lot in the last year. It used to introduce 8 or more new words at once and then only do 3 repetitions of each one but now there are fewer words and more repetition. The character lessons are the most useful.

    Nice video. I think the biggest problem with Duolingo Japanese is that it's too short. I finished it in a year. It just doesn't contain that much. I think it's a good tool. But by itself it's not going to get you very far. I still use it. I do it on the bus on the way to work.
    I think the Katakana and Hiragana learning sections are excellent.
