For your information and general knowledge : Chanel first make their pattern on runway model for the runway and for production they do a step called 'standardisation' where they take regular people from this specific team with a very normal/average body type to make the grading. And of course they adjust the grading for each sizes. (thank's for what you are doing, it's awesome)
I have gone through your catalog of videos. Always looking forward to the next ones 😊. Now comes the question: Are you going to cover tech garments? There’re some big brand names out there ( not only goretex/polartec) and technologies that claims to be the future. Better durability, breathable, isolation, stretch. All who claim to be better or qual to natural counterparts.
Most informative channel on RUclips right now! Thanks for sharing! I've always been curious to know how to choose brands that design for my body type. Is there a resource for learning about brands and who they design for?
There is a standard EN 13402 Size designation of clothes. That is a European standard for labelling clothes sizes. Hopefully this gets more widely adopted.
This standard was introduced back in the early 2000s. However body composition as well as population changes see few brands utilizing this standard anymore
Would love for you to review and analyze Outlier! Been one of my favorite brands. Buy them mostly used but they seem more well made than lululemon without the high end price tags of luxury brands
Would be curious what a breakdown of the classic Ralph Lauren Polo would be like. It’s been around for so long. Is it still viable for its price in 2024.
Just stumbled onto your channel, and love the work. Was wondering as a general shopper, who might be walking through a Macy’s or shopping on Amazon, what are some tips you would recommend in terms of highlighting the quality of the garment. What would you look for, or compare to similar garments
I’ve purchased a LOT of blanks including from Portugal and Canada and I can say AS Colour is one of the best. I just wish that their fit was better suited for athletic bodies 😅
Here's one from me: how does mineral or acid washing affects the fabric? I purchased a Zadig Et Voilaire hoodie and I think it spent too much time in the wash. The fabric seems weak and the hoodie is developing holes in unusual places. If indeed too much mineral or acid wash weakens the fabric, how can a brand identify if the garment or clothing item spent too much time in the wash?
Please dive into sizing more, as a larger guy with some muscle it's very difficult to find clothes. Button down shirts may fit in the shoulders but be too tight in the forearm or bicep. Or things will be sized for people with bigger midsections, and are uncomfortably baggy. It's extremely difficult to find things that fit well even with taking them to be tailored after. The oversize trend recently has helped, but I dread the day slimmer fits are the only thing available. More brands will list thigh measurement recently, so it helps in ruling out the 90% that are too slim.

Yo, I thought the sizes were standardized! 🤷🏾♂ Would love to hear more about that.

Stumbled upon the channel and have enjoyed it. What is the black t-shirt brand you're wearing in most of the videos?
Can you do a video on as colour? Thanks, love the content!!
