- So because we got to the cerobi steppe early we can now make the ultima blade.
1 Gnoma Halcyon - Rare steal from Gnoma Entite
2 Adamantite - Rare Drop From The Turtles In the cerobi steppe
2 Death Powder - Rare drop from the bogey ghosts in the zentiarn caves (I thought we needed 3)
Hunter's Monograph - Complete Thextera hunt, then talk to Gatsly at the Muthru Bazaar in Rabanastre.
Knight's Monograph - Talk to any weapon merchant 30 times
Warmage's Monograph - Read any Hunt Bulletin Board 20 times
Mage's Monograph - Talk to any magick merchant 25 times
Scholar's Monograph - Talk to any armor merchant 15 times
Dragoon's Monograph - Read any Hunt Bulletin Board 40 times
Sage's Monograph - Speak to any merchant 100 times

Never even got all the best weapons in the original version I was a bit of a noob lol and still am even though I have like 600 hours in the game total. Thanks for the upload the monograph guide is very helpful.
Same here. Although I think its impossible to get all the weapons without a guide. I don't like guides in RPG's. It takes away from the exploration. I got everything in this FF12 without a guide. All espers, hunts and rare games. I couldn't get the weapons as there was no hints in game on how to get them. But otherwise I think this was my favourite final fantasy for exploring and finding everything.

They would never "patch" it, it's an intended part of the game. They even have a mini dialogue dedicated to telling you how to do it
Something weird about the ultima blade in the switch version of the game appearance wise. It looks kinda small. Cus i remember in ps2 it really looks big like the buster sword of cloud..

You can also get Masamune relatively early, as long as you can defeat the Antlion hunt and that you have progressed up to Phon Coast in the stoy. All this should easily be doable at around lvl 40-45. Get the Site 11 key off Phon Coast/Hunter's Camp and progress deeper into Lushu Mines to where Gilgamesh is fought the second time and loot the sword in the room. Getting to Gilgamesh room can be tricky since the mobs are around lvl 60 there. But you can try to run past or use Vanishga Motes. I feel that Masamune is a way better sword than Ultima Blade.
Thats cool I didnt relise you unlock the antlion hunt that early. One thing I would suggest is dont activate the hunt club sidequest before going to the lushu mines otherwise you might encounter disma and probably die.

You can't buy that armor from the baknamy merchant until after giruvegan, once you obtain the treaty blade. NOT THE SWORD OF KINGS.

Is this ultima blade really worth it? had no problem with the gnoma entite item, but I've now been here for two hours straight hunting bogey's and only got 1 death powder. I've got a 65 chain going and all am getting is jewels and dark crystals. (and yes am not poaching or stealing, am killing)
Victoria Sharpe personal preference really its a strong weapon but its not the 'ultimate' weapon in the game. You can steal the ultima weapon in trail mode if you want to chesse the game (cant remember which stage tbough)

How did you get to the steps that early I tried to go in through the uplands and rock slide
I made a video on it. But in short you get a chocobo from the phon coast to go up the rock slide, you should have about 20secs or so spare when you get there
man i've been farming those adamantite for over an hour and they haven't dropped once.......ugh

Does killing earth tyrant effect sandstorms in the westersand?
Tjracerz i always forget about that sidequest so im unsure tbh. But i know that if you do the ring wyrm hunt, its always is a sandstorm for some reason in the westersand afterwards as long as you dont exit the sands.
SaboteurXIII thanks actually i tried entering the westersand from the giza plain during the rains snd it seemed to increase the chances of a sandstorm, not sure if it was luck on my part but everyother westersand entrance gave me no dice till then.
Yeah I really dont know how to manipulate the weather in places to get monsters to spawn. I just zone areas. IE: Cerobi Steppe - Tchita Uplands.

I havent stopped uploading, just dont upload everyday or consistantly. Espically when my focus atm is dark anima NSG which takes most of my time....
Cerobi steppe has an Ultima Blade in a chest. Got 3 copies via the RNG manipulation.
I don't know how to RNG manip, unless for the sietangrat on PS4. And I personally only need one so I just do it this way. I can always trail mode manip too.
@@AdogXIII3 I commented knowing this video was made back 2 yeara ago. My comment was meant for new viewers. To kinda jolt them into look into RNG manipulation.
It's a cool tech. Let's you collect Brave suits,Grand armors, Dragon whiskers and other high end weapons and armors bypassing the terrible loot drop rates and bazaar buy and selling.
Yeah you can get the best armors, staff of the magi, ultima blade, formalhut, stone/dark shot, dark energy and holy rod. (only items I personally care about) So if you know how to RNG manip then yeah you can get some really useful things.

Thanks man I totally forgot to do that. Monographs are needed to get monsters to drop super rare items that they normally would not drop. But cost a bit of gil for each one. I've now rewrote it in the description but heres how you obtain each one:

Quick Question since you are knowledgeable. Any place to farm for XP? Im approx 27-34 on all characters, looking to get into early 40s before proceeding. Im gonna do your Cerobi steppe video next. Im at the Archadia part as well. Right past Bur Omisace
I dont really think about levels too much because I usually just use my girls but if you need XP I did find one embroidered tippet (which doubles XP on the equipped character) in the Nam yensa sandsea. If you're strong enough try and fight the monsters in the nabidis deadlands they give off decent XP, they're not as strong as the ones in the necrohol.

You can buy them in one of the skyferrys. I think nalbina to rabenastre but I could be wrong.

My levels are what yours are, I just got to phon coast and all my dudes do like 2k dammage tops :(
Levels dont really matter too much in this game, all the damage output is from the licence board and the strong weapons
Why not just get 6 Seitengrate bows? It's way more stronger and is actually quite easy to aquire thanks to ring manipulation. I got 6 bows in 20mins and from that moment on did not even need any other weapon in the game!
This was recorded before the RNG manipulation was found, also not everyone wants to use just one weapon, I personally like to have a bit of fun and like the designs of the weapons.

I dont know why but in FF12 I love farming for items to create things early that you are not supposed to have. Also personally I dont want to use the bow unless I really have too.

That is a way of doing it, but on this playthrough i did, I didnt want to abuse the trail mode to gain all these items.

They should do, have you got all the monographs!? Because you need a specific monograph but not sure what one, so I got all before making the video.
They do its just after so many people posting how to get it early they increased the odd of you getting all the items at a lower %. So something that could take 20 minutes can now take 3 hours if you are unlucky.
SaboteurXIII yep I got yhe adamantite but after a long long time it took about 2hrs at 4x plus the thiefs gloves I think I was unlucky. I think the update has def increased the odds I've all the monographs btw

You should plan out your videos man. You should know where to go ahead of time, amd which mobs to kill. Instead of running around and saying "i think its this room" or "definitley not this place". Make the video more streamlined. Still, props on making the blade man.
I was making the video on the fly and relying on memory since I havent played FF12 since 2013. But yeah for a smother guide I should practice it 1st but some of these items you probably dont want to get it more times then you have too since they are hard to get.

Write a basic script, maybe a timeline so you don't end up wandering.
