My trucking school told us to never use that technique of going into a turn whilst driving into oncoming traffic before the turn. But it makes sense. Was told if done on the test it would be an automatic fail though. I have heard a lot of contradictory stuff with the "rules" or "techniques" to use.

Dunno how well this would work in a truck, but I was told at Cincinnati Metro to hold guard over both lanes and then make the turn

I remember when I was in my car making a left turn when I saw a car in the right lane making a right turn behind a semi and cutting in between the trailer tandem wheels of the semi and the right curb. When the light turned green, the car tried to move forward to turn right. The trailer wheels then removed the car's front bumper left side.

The problem isn't that the 4 wheelers think is our fault after they smashing into us, The problem Is that the police and the court system let them think it's our fault when they smash into us.

I know this is the proper way to turn, did it for years. It always bothered me to have my right signal on and then swing into the left lane. I started putting the left blinker on for a second or three as I swung out and right back to the right once I knew the left lane was mine. As I said I know it is not the taught way and would probably fail a cdl test.

"Caution, this vehicle makes wide right turns" "Caution, stay back 200 feet" Average length of an 18 wheeler is 72 feet. Average radii of a street corner can be anywhere between two and 15 feet. This information is in public domain. Unfortunately, most drivers are bad at math and can't solve simple problems and besides too many live by the 'Me, myself and I' code. It's so damn simple. Just let the large vehicles do their thing, give them the room they need and stay clear. These heavy machine operators are busy working.

What if the other cars aren’t able to move out the way?

Just wait there until they can, be prepared angry four wheelers staring at you and yelling for blocking their ways.

Idk if the four wheelers don't know or they don't care. And another thing I hate is when you are on a 2 lane back road barely wide enough for a semi and knowing damn well you gotta go over the line a little in a curve and they wanna speed up

Please, anyone watching this, never do this. This is called a jughandle. Keep your tandems as close to the curb as you can and do what's called a "buttonhook".
If this is correct, the method you have described, please reference where I can find this from any credible source. A DMV manual, DOT, CDL drivers manual.
Not from someone who says "Trust me, I know because I've been doing this for a long time". Or the other one is "Trust me, I know, I've been doing this for 30 years".
Immediately question anything they say. You know why?
*Trust me,I've been do this for a long time.*
    😂
This makes me curious because the creator is an insurance company.

Right. They are specifically teaching me NOT to do this. Does it differ between states though is what I'd like to know.
