Just stumbled on this song, from Australia. Truly feel blessed to hear such amazing music. Reminds me of eating jello salad with my American friends. Hopefully, Utah releases an album next.
I'm from Germany. A friend of mine had to give a presentation about one of the states and our teacher convinved her to take Utah. It was a great presentation, everybody loved it and in the end she showed us this video. THIS IS FUCKIN' AMAZING!! :D We all sang along and our teacher wanted us to learn the song. And we did. And we had so much fun. Thanks Utah
Lady Internet Only 64% of Utah is Mormon. And say what you want, but their economy is booming due to the fact that they actually have a stable birth rate.
I moved from California to West Valley, Utah a year and a half ago, and love it up here. I kind of miss the Southern California weather, especially in winter, but I'm getting used to the cold, and snow in the winter time here, and am liking having four real seasons. Utah is a beautiful state, with lots of kind friendly people, plenty of things to do, and see, and I hope it stays that way.
Oh goodness! I remember having to memorize this song in 7th grade back in 2000-2001. For something to do with the Salt Lake City 2002 Winter Olympic Games, but can't quite recall what it was.
I did, it’s the most oppressive and close minded state of misery in the entire world. I’ve never been happier after leaving the state with the highest child suicide rate. Utah thinks the world revolves around it’s culture and has no idea it’s certifiably the most insane and depressed group of people there is. No one is more hopelessly enslaved than those that falsely believe they are free.
I am once again living in Utah but this time in Sothern Utah, I have lived in Northern Utah, Carson City Navada, Idaho, 3 moths in Messa Arizona, Virginia and West Virgina and Orlando Florida. I love all these Great States but There is something great about Sothern Utah I Never get tired of looking at the Red Rocks and the dry air wich is a lot easier to breathe than Humidity plus it's great to be able to swim in lakes and not wondering if you are going to get eaten by Aligators!! The fact is if you don't like Utah there are 49 other States that you should explore and if you check them out maby your opinion of Utah will change you may find things you like about Utah, you just have to step out of the bubble.
I lived in Utah growing up and multiple other places in the Country, but CARSON CITY is where I am and wouldn't want to be anywhere else. Glad you had some time here.......it's awesome!
That is great Carson was the longest place I ever lived I moved there when I was 4 and lived there until I was 13 I would love to go back and visit and see how much it has changed. A lot of great memories in Carson and Lake Taho!
As a native Utahn, hearing this song as a child, bring good memories, as cheesy as it may be, I love my state. I know it isn't perfect as has much to improve, but I see its potential and love I have for it. Although I want to move out of state, Utah will always be in my heart.
yes what happened there was wrong and those who were involved were executed for there crime. But let's not forget the fact that Latter Day Saints were persicuted as well they were driven out Of Navoo wich they built by a blood thirsty mob, and let's not forget Honse mill Massicure!! For trying to defend there homes and let's also not forget when the US Government asked them to help fight in the Mexican war when the Government turned there backs on them but they did forgive the government and did help, sir I can go on and on and on but you know what that happend along time ago and we became better because of it We finally became a State after a hard long battle. So yes that Massicure was wrong and I except that but can't you agree on the other aspects of it as well we are Americans after all. I hope I did not effend you but it is truth.
Only one man, John D. Lee, was executed for his part in the Mountain Meadows Massacre. Those whose orders he was following got off scot free. BTW, you know what killed many more Mormons than Missouri and Illinois mobs? The ill-conceived handcart scheme (featured in the video). Several hundred died trying to cross the plains pulling handcarts while Brigham Young was living comfortably in the Beehive House, not leading them as the video implies.
Bro no sense trying to instill ration in a Mormon they are hopelessly programmed beyond impression. Mormonism is a deeply powerful mind control cult. They use these methods to syphon money and servitude from its members for their business endeavors. The Mormon church has over 30 billion in real eastate, retail, and big pharma stocks. They are an evil tax free corporation posing as the one true church. The Mormon leadership will have no choice but to send themselves to hell for the guilt they will feel at death for their ongoing crimes against humanity and it’s free will.
VeganThuggin all religions are powerful mind controlling cults, last I checked every religion uses fear to control its followers. Also give me one religion that values rationality. Religion is a lie and if you believe in any form of it, you have no room to talk. Islam, Catholicism, Evangelical Protestantism all use fear and disregard science and rationality.
Utah being the great basin and Jim Bridger said this is the place spanish explorers and pioneers I don't care what you fucking people say this is the place and I love and I always will utah will be in my heart for ever
I'm sorry LMAO. Did you talk about mormons & how they murdered indians and stole their land and how Joseph Smith and Brigham Young was a pedophile and how mormons love opioids and essential oils?? LMAOOOO
I'm making a compilation album with all fifty state songs and the national anthem. I'm using this song as the (not this particular video, but the song Utah, We Love Thee) 20th track on the second disc, otherwise known as the 46th track on the whole compilation. My own state song is Washington, My Home :)
I love being told by one of my classmates in the middle of math class that transgenders are bad when I myself am trans. Also enjoy the various times I've heard the n-word in my school. God bless Utah.

Ahhh nostalgia. Had to sing this at least once every year in elementary school in Springville Utah. "This is the PLAAAAAAAAAAAAACE!!"
Rebekah Lindsley I remember watching Mr Curtis directing the kids singing this song in an assembly! Sage Creek Dragons all the way! 😁

I think so. But I'm not sure, it's too long ago

Utah is a horrid place if you're not white or a mormon.
Lady Internet Only 64% of Utah is Mormon. And say what you want, but their economy is booming due to the fact that they actually have a stable birth rate.
I had to learn and sing this song in 4th grade for Utah's Centennial in 96.

If I say "Utah" and you don't respond with "People working together", don't talk to me.
Even though I was born in Arizona but live in Ohio and plan to move back, Utah is a close second alternative!
