I found turning VRR to uncapped on Pro fidelity mode and setting the motion blur to 5 was the best for me. All maxed out setting and the motion blur to hide the choppy framerate is a fantastic experience.... Still trying to figure out if BO6 has its enhancements or not, runs WAAAAY better though
I gotta admit it slightly looks better and by reading the comments it’s even better in person. It’s a bit shame that we’re in a era that graphic leaps aren’t much common

I do agree in the fact that you do need to see it in person to really appreciate the new console. Having said that, the differences are not day and night. I think the PS5 Pro is not only for the “hardcore” gamer or enthusiasts but more to the “Sony enthusiasts”. I feel like first party titles are the ones who are really gonna make the most of the new hardware.
When you play it yourself, there is a difference and the main difference to me on the pro was the fighting and all the tendrils ☝️☝️ it seemed more clear when I fought and not a blur felt like a movie. I like my ps5 pro plus the disc drive I put on it was from my ps5 slim. The disc drive can be swapped from slim to pro pretty neat 🤙
Man… we don’t need new consoles. We already have the best we need for video games. We just need more games that only pc could run and then Sony take the minimum spec requirements and put them in the next console but x2 better. I bet they could make it for like 1000 dollars and get 8k 60 fps
The only difference you will see in this game is that you have the proper TV to support it, and you play it for yourself, and not watch a compressed RUclips video. Ideally, you want a tv that can support 4k, 120 Hz, and vrr. Plus, an OLED, if you have the money for it. I do have a TV that supports these features, but it’s not an OLED TV. Is a nanocell TV. I’m curious though, why do people recommend getting an OLED TV for the PS5 Pro? A lot of these TVs have these features, and it’s not just OLED, like LCD or QLED. Would it still look good on an LCD tv, when playing the PS5 Pro?

Fidelity in 60 fps looks great but it's better to just upgrade your TV to an OLED than handing over $700 for a new console for very marginal differences.

Is it just me, or does 60 frames per second make the game appear strangely fast and distorted? I’ll gladly accept my reliable 30 frames per second with a more cinematic feel and superior graphics.
I’m confused as my tv is telling me it’s running at 80fps in the new fidelity pro mode so why would performance mode be needed at 60 when I’m doing full ray tracing at between 70 and 100 ?
PC is amazing. As someone who owns both, I think the only place it lacks is the optimization for some games. You're always confident that a game would run just fine on console but PC could be a different situation, even when you have an amazing rig.

Developers are given Dev kits for consoles, so they can easily optimize their games for the consoles as they know the hardware. But when it comes to PC, developers don't exactly know what your Specs are as everyone have their own custom builds. Still many games released on PC have great optimization like Marvels Spiderman, and have poor ones like Batman Arkham Knight from back in the day, at the end of the day it depends on how the developer optimizes their games. Also I do agree that resolution droping and locked FPS is a big turn off. Especially when it's 30 FPS nowadays. I played games like Gotham Knights, Hellblade 2 and A plague tale requiem on PC just for this reason

What makes me so frustrated and made me decide not to buy it, even though I'm capable of buying it, is the same lie they told us in 2020 about "60 FPS will be the standard," which made me fall for it and buy the console, and that was a colorful lie. Then, a couple of months ago, when I watched the PS5 Pro technical presentation, I kept my expectations low, and when Cerny talked about "fidelity mode graphics and performance mode frames without needing to change them anymore," I still didn't believe it until DF talked about "Hogwarts Legacy still having a 30fps RT mode," which confirmed my suspicion, and there you go... another damned colorful lie. Worst generation of consoles. The 30fps curse and modes will still remain. Looks like I have to wait for PS6 to see if it completely annihilates 30fps and choosing between modes or not. Until then, I'll try to save even more money; maybe I'll invest in a PC.
brother in my opinion you go for a pc always if you can only go for playstation if you care deeply about the exclusives and have to play them otherwise just about any game on xbox and even switch games can be played thru emulators and everything in between on PC!

Then, a couple of months ago, when I watched the PS5 Pro technical presentation, I kept my expectations low, and when Cerny talked about "fidelity mode graphics and performance mode frames without needing to change them anymore," I still didn't believe it until DF talked about "Hogwarts Legacy still having a 30fps RT mode," which confirmed my suspicion, and there you go... another damned colorful lie. Worst generation of consoles. The 30fps curse and modes will still remain. Looks like I have to wait for PS6 to see if it completely annihilates 30fps and choosing between modes or not. Until then, I'll try to save even more money; maybe I'll invest in a PC.
brother in my opinion you go for a pc always if you can only go for playstation if you care deeply about the exclusives and have to play them otherwise just about any game on xbox and even switch games can be played thru emulators and everything in between on PC!
This game is still underwhelming.
Just because it's Spider Man 2 doesn't mean it's about it. Nobody is talking about how the game is. This is about the system and how the game looks on PS5 Pro software and how it runs. Quit starting a controversy for the sake of attention.
